  • There was a great conversation going about the importance of not cheating ( thanks Schenectady!)

  • Thanks for referencing that Lisa. I missed it and it is so true!
  • From previous thread:
Quote: Two full weeks of being 100% OP -I am thrilled!
Quote: I have just started my fourth week. I love getting on here and seeing everyone's success. I have lost 13 lbs so far and am only 3.8 away from going under the 300 lb. mark.
Congratulations to both of you! That's great!!

I'll hit two full weeks 100% OP tomorrow night. I'm already thinking ahead to how I'm going to navigate Siblings' birthday next month and stay OP. I might have to skip the family dinner. My own birthday is less of an issue, because then I get to dictate the menu.
  • Hi everyone,

Excited to be re-starting on P1 today. Looking forward to catching up on everyone's news, and meeting all the new 100% folks.

    Welcome back!

Thanks Lisa! How have you been?
  • I made it through my first weekend on IP. I made it through my first holiday - St Pattys Day family dinner as well. I prepped food up to Wednesday and got a cute new salad dish for work.

Good job on staying OP sapphire! Prepping ahead always helps - I love being able to grab and go in the morning.
  • Took the kids to McD's today for a shamrock shake. I had peppermint tea with stevia and didn't feel like I missed a thing! Stayed 100% OP all weekend. I was perfect until week four when I started testing the waters and then only had a 2 lb loss. Been back 100% ever since.

Thanks. Being prepared was definitely a help this first week and will continue to be.
  • Welcome back LittleStar!

Just a vent to get this off my chest, then I'm moving on.

I was at Wal-Mart yesterday looking at the Crystal Light display. I had 2 coupons, one for the liquid and one for the powders. An older woman was standing next to me and we started talking. I only use the liquid because it's sweetened with sucralose and the woman was looking at the others.

All the sudden she turns to me and says "I don't like using Crystal Light because it has chemicals in it but you're fat so it's better you stick with it because it's sugar free."

I gave her the dirtiest look and walked away...and to think I almost gave her my extra coupon!

    Ugh, people are crazy!
  • IPN- the phrase wth comes to mind. How rude and untrue. Some people have no tact or sense. I am so sorry that you had to deal with her.

OMG! What a b!tch! I really would have been tempted to say something truly nasty. Good job on walking away.

And I'm sorry that happened to you. There is no excuse for someone acting like that.
  • IPN
You walked away? You're a better woman than I.
I might be fat, but I can fix that. You cant fix stupid. There would have been an f bomb dropped, as I can be sailor-like.

Quote: Thanks Lisa! How have you been?
    Stalled.
    Starting back on p1 tomorrow
  • Thanks ladies. It feels good to be able to vent then move on.

Lisa: I tend to have a mouth worse than a sailor but I was feeling particularly snarky and decided to take the high road. The phrase "you can't fix stupid" is so necessary in today's world.

Luckily I've only received 4 hurtful comments throughout my journey thus far. It's just ironic that I never received any when I was so overweight but once I improved my looks/health, here they come!
