2. Drop out of Obese Class III
Congrats to you! That is great!

And thanks for the video on ricing cauliflower - I might have to give that a shot.

Good morning all and happy Friday! Its great to read the posts and I just want to say that this 100% thread is one that I've really needed and enjoyed as I was losing the weight. Everyone is committed to losing and very positive with one another. You all deserve a big pat on the back that post here and I will continue to read as I maintain or need a boost.

I've used this method for ricing cauliflower as well as chopping cabbage to make coleslaw. The key is to make sure that you use enough water to cover all the vegetables and only go for a very short period of time if you are using a Vitamix. Other types of blenders may take a bit longer.

Hi all, my room mate is going away on holidays so I threw out her peperoni and I'm giving away her cheese! I don't want it in the house while she's away!! Have had a great couple of days so I'm thankful and motivated again! Whew!! Its been a tough few weeks.

Have a great weekend!!

Thanks for the great tip and the link to the video! I have been using my food processor, but cutting each floret and a lot of the stem off. I do mine dry, and pulse it, then shake the container and pulse, on and on. So time consuming! I love this method! I am sure glad I checked in today.

Thank you to everyone for the cauliflower rice tips! I will work my way through them all.

Congrats for all the losses!

Hiker, glad it is back on the easy track.

So, a student sneezed at me on Monday and now I'm fighting a cold

I'm supposed to go do some volunteer trailbuilidng today. I'll just do what I have energy for. It's supposed to be a gorgeous day.

Last year my alumni group did a similar project. Due to back pain, I was the photographer for the day. Thank goodness for the 9 months of PT I endured, both as a time and monetary commitment. It was truly worth it and today I will be part of the crew.

Kind of like IP! Monetary, time, and endurance commitment but oh-so-worth it!

Yuck on the cold Lisa - hope you knock it out quickly!

Isn't it nice to be able to do things without hauling around all that extra weight? I've started doing a lot of stairs instead of elevators - I'm amazed at how much easier stairs are when I'm not trying to drag an extra person up them.

good morning all

weigh in #12 was a bit disappointing up 1.6 lbs but I'm pretty sure it's because I've been so constipated. I bought some Floralax from my coach - he says it will work for sure - keeping my fingers crossed - I know I didn't gain because I wasn't on program so I can live with it. I'm sure next weigh in will be fine.

hope we all have a great day on program we're worth it

The Big C can show up a extra weight on the scale for sure Maureen! So can higher sodium days, inflammation from injuries, colds, etc., etc. And sometimes it just happens. Hard to figure out.

What you do know is that if you've been following the plan (and I know you have!) you did not put on 1.6 lbs of fat - not possible.

Hope you get things straightened out or (ahem) moving - it can be so frustrating!
