Day 02--Wednesday, May 27: Just one sweet (again, a gift put directly in my hand, kryptonite), tall drink of water

    Welcome, Milkquasy!
  • I worked late last night and literally have no desire to workout. I wanted to try a new water aerobics class so I'm going, but I have extreme frowny face about it. The other side is I'm just too close, stubborn and hard headed to not finish the last two days of the 21 days....
  • Challenge: change just one small habit!

Hi everyone, Still haven't decided on what to do my challenge on in June. Will try to decide soon.

Obsidian, You are doing great on exercising, keep up the great work! Hope you have put in 21 days so we can congrat YOU.

wendy, nice job of recording calories. on making the 21 days!!

Dr. Geri,, I like your optional challenge, It sounds like it will fit in with your busy work schedule.

Milk , and this thread! I have often done the no p,m, snacking challenge, so can appreciate how challenging this one is.

    LETS DO THIS!
  • Belated Congratulations to walkinglikeadog, just realized you finished your challenge

So learned alot today...I was grumpy because I was hungry..once I ate a late lunch everything was better.

I really didn't want to go to the class today, but between this challenge and wanting to see what it was about...I went...and it was awesome...definitely will be back next week..

So yeah thank you guys...tomorrow is Day 21
  • Further progress on calorie logging!

    May 24th: Day 11
    May 25th: Day 12
    May 26th: Day 13
    May 27th: Day 14
    May 28th: pause day
  • Yeay, happy to see you back and contemplating your next challenge, Hard Working Dog.

Obsidian, I like how you went to water aerobics even when you weren't really feeling it, and ended up enjoying it. I really miss water aerobics, I used to go twice a week...twenty years ago. I need to find something like that again. Can't wait to celebrate your challenge victory tomorrow.

    WendyBird, keep on logging!

Peace, consistency, and success to everyone else out there on a challenge.
  • Challenge done..I'm sweaty and tired but super proud of myself. Funny when I joined 3fc 10+ years ago and tried this 21 day challenge multiple times and failed. The fact that I did it, and with no pause days, makes me all weepy.

While I'm happy with my accomplishment its taught me I need pause days...even if I can do it, my body needs the rest.

I'm gonna take a couple weeks off and be back for another go.

Good luck to everyone on their challenges.
  • Day 03--Thursday, May 28: No sweets and a tall drink of water.

Day 04--Friday, May 29: Just one sweet and a tall drink of water. Proud of myself for stopping at one minuscule cheesecake square when I wanted and could have taken more. I removed myself from the reception rather than remain in the presence of those cheesecake bites.

Way to go on your victory, Obsidian! Come back soon with your next challenge, this time with some pause days built in so you do not need to push yourself so hard.
  • Challenge: change just one small habit!

50 situps a day with 3 possible pause days. Getting tired of my muffin top - hoping this might be a step in the right direction.

  • Obsidian, on completing your challenge. Come back soon.

    Wendy, making some nice progress!

Dr. Geri,, Way to STOP!!! Excellent control on the cheesecake, that can be a problem dessert for me.
  • Day 05--Saturday, May 30: Terrible food choices otherwise, but no sweets and a tall drink of water.

Pause Day 1--Sunday, May 31: Planned pause day. I went berserk with sweets and 20 hours later still feel like there's a boulder in my belly. But on the side of progress, even though I knew it was going to have to be a pause day, I still drank extra water.

Welcome back, Hard Workng Dog. I like how you always vary your challenges, this time with sit-ups.

Looking forward to WendyBird's next check-in on your logging progress, and Obsidian's selection of the next challenge. Peace and progress to everyone else, looking forward to your participation.

  • Welp I'm back. The scale is finally going in the right direction, but I need to cook at home. So Starting tomorrow. I need to bring either breakfast or lunch to work. I am not counting weekends so it will be 21 week days so I think that's a month. 3 pause days.
  • June, and 21 day challenge. Beginning June 3

Pedometer is to show 5,000 steps or more per day with 1 pause day a week. Today is pause because I had shot in my arthritic knee and must rest it.
