  • CAn you do 26 miles on foot this month? Not in under three hours, not in a single day, but over the month. You can do it outdoors, indoors, on the track, on the treadmill, on the elliptical, what ever works for you. You can do a mile per day, or several miles at a time. You can do a double marathon over the course of the month if that's more your speed.

    Here are the rules. Join in. Commit. Keep us up to date on your progress in this thread. Celebrate your success and fellow marathoners at the end.

  • I'll join. I want to see how many marathons I can walk BBL to update my daily mileage. I usually walk around 100 miles per month, but this month I will be on a vacation for 10 days and I won't get my regular exercise in on those days.

  • Oh yes! Love the monthly marathons. I hurt my leg last month and have to slowly get back into walking. This will help!

  • I'm in. I plan to sign up for a half marathon for this spring, but it is so cold here that I am having trouble getting motivated to train. This will help jump start my training and get me to the gym. What a clever idea...starts today right?
  • Ok...I am a technology idiot. How am I suppose to track this? Help? Anyway....I did 3 miles today via elliptical, stair stepper and treadmill.

  • Thank you, Junem for inviting me to the thread. I don't know that I can do 1000 miles in 2014 but I am pretty sure that I can do at least 52.4 in February.

  • I would like to join in, but I will only count the distance jogged. So i might not get the entire marathon because i am not a runner.

    2/2/14 I jogged .5 miles on and off. I will call it my interval training, lol.\

    Oh so I have made 2 full miles now on 2/10/14.
