I'm joining in! I'll be starting over since I did week one and then got sick. It'll be nice to have some accountability!

Are any of you doing this in a gym, rather than outside? Tredmilling it up?

Want to do this, but I'm SO overweight... am I just setting myself up for failure?

I do it in the gym... I feel more comfortable with the control of how fast I run and walk. It works out pretty well for me minus all the wobbly bits, but that would happen off the treadmill as well.

I've also just restarted C25K! In March 2012 I ran a 10K after completing the program, but now I'm back to square one. D: It's tough to feel like I can't do anything I used to be able to do, but doing something difficult is better than laying on my couch!

so i am restarting this too but in my own way. Yesterday i did the 5k to time how fast i could do it and i wasnt happy. My friend who is a "proper" runner says 30 mins is a good time so i have a lot of work to do. yesterday i did it in 49:24. by Christmas i want to be doing it in under 40. Think this is possible?
Yesterday (as usual) it wasnt my legs that gave in, it was my lungs and an old medical condition which frightened me into slowing but im hoping as i get fitter those things will improve again.

I have no question you can do it, Rechyl!

When I was regularly doing C25K before, I was jogging at 8.5kph (5.2mph). When it finally came time to try the 10K, I finished the race in 70 minutes. I was no speed demon, and I walked for about half a kilometer in the middle, but I surprised myself that day. I think with a combination of good mood, good conditions and a bit of adrenaline, you'll be amazed at what your body is capable of.

I started day 1 yesterday! I'm doing this every other day and 30 day shred on the other days. I almost gave up, but I was resilient and made it through to the end of day 1! Tomorrow I'll go for day 2!

did week 1 day 3 today. Felt really good and i didnt get out of breath but i did feel tired by the end.
Im doing it in the gym so after the treadmill i did some rowing and then a lot of weights and im feeling the burn tonight. My knees are rather painful but im still glad i went.

On the way home i had a shot on the swings something i hadnt done for probably 20 years and it was so much fun i started giggling.

How is everyone getting on?

Did W1D3 on Tuesday and haven't been back since! Guess that means I need to pull myself together and get to the gym today to start W2.
