Goal

  • I did it! I made it to my goal weight! I'd still ultimately like to lose about 6 more pounds...or rather, inches...but I'm going to do that via wholefoods and exercise. So, transition starts next week, and in 2 weeks i'll be off medifast!
  • Yay!!! That is awesome!!! I am starting my journey this weekend (when my food gets here). Any tips or hints for success for newcomers? And how long did it take you to lose how much?

    Congratulations!!!
  • Hi Misstraveler! Good luck on your journey! I lost 37 pounds, starting April 17th and I had a terrible july...I actually gained and lost 8 pounds twice in juy, but by the end I was the same as I was at the beginning and I lost 6 more in early August! I didn't expect to be where I am so quickly, but now i'm just mentally done so I decided i'm happy where I am and want to pick up some fitness classes, so I decided to lose the remaining weight slower, but with fruits and all veggies allowed lol. I still have like an entire months worth of medifast though, so maybe ill continue to eat it once/twice a day, or find someone looking to start up.

Tips..if you don't like a food, don't give up on it. There are so many ways to prepare it so it works better (I RARELY make something the way the directions say, it just never turns out), and there are different recipes you can use combining meals. Also, your taste buds will change...so something you don't like the first time you try it...come back to it a month later and you may find you love it! Seriously consider weather a cheat is worth it. it's SOOO freaking hard to get back on plan once you fall off...and I made myself extremely sick twice because I decided to indulge on things I shouldn't have. Utilize your health coach! S/he will be your best friend at times!!!!
  • Congrats!
  • Congratulations Andi!
  • Way to go !!!
