Almost there!!

  • Hi there, I am new to the forum so I thought I'd introduce myself!
I have been Dx with a Pituitary tumor 15yrs ago & PCOS about 4. Last September for 2011 I was finally put on proper meds and with diet alone I lost almost 100pds. BUT I am now stuck. I can't lose the last 42. I was at 264 now at 178, my GOAL weight is 135.
My Dr. suggested a low carb diet since I am insulin resistant. So here I am, I am starting tomorrow, why wait until Monday?!?!

I will be here often, reaching out to you guys for support & questions! (:

    Thanx,
    Flgrl75

  • Hello and welcome, FLgrl75!!!

Congratulations on your progress! You look so great right now and you're gonna look awesome once you're at goal! GL with the last 42 lbs after you figure out how to get past your (short-lived hopefully) plateau.
  • THIS is the way I am going to reach my goal~ LOW CARBING! The other way was just eating healthy. But that stopped working, so I am SURE this is exactly what I need!!
    Thanx!!
  • Welcome and good luck on your journey!!
Congrats on your loss so far!
  • LC can really do amazing things. If you're new to the concept, you should check out Peter Attia and Gary Taubes on YouTube. And read Why We Get Fat by Taubes.

    ETA: You look really great!
