    Yay, my 3-day weekend has begun. I am getting up super early in the morning so I can get out of town and be in the deep water pool on the Island by 7:00 or so (it's about 2.5 hour drive from here including the ferry ride).

    Had a good day, and ended my week with another night out where I drank in moderation—yay! That makes 11.5 drinks for the week (last 7 days)—down ½ drink from last week. I’ll take it! Went through some old photos, and it’s interesting to see how chunky I looked, at times when I thought I looked OK. Guess I just paid attention to the flattering photos!
  • i think i'm ending my night at 1270 calories, with 320 burned at the gym...im not really hungry and i dont feel that "need" to eat anything and i'm just finishing a diet soda...

    my parents finally retired their old chair today and got a new recliner...the old chair was over 30 years old and even they had bought it secondhand when i was a toddler...dad said he's putting it in the old trailer next to their house and not throwing it away
  • Good evening! I personally am getting sick of the heat! It's supposed to be autumn but its been so hot and Muggy here in n.z, I just want rain! Other than that I have been okay with the food today, I did have some chocolate biscuits and an icecream, total calories today is 1353 so that's a bit better. I just wish I could find my scales, i might have to buy a new set as its hard to know how I am doing!

  • ok so my weight won't be good at all tomorrow. I went to the Houston Rodeo carnival and ate pizza and corn dogs and fried things...and drank...then went to the Bruno Mars concert and THEN went and had margaritas and caldo de pollo. mmmm

    with my sister..who is a size two. but she can EAT.

    anyway...it was FUN! will get back to it tomorrow.

  • Good morning everyone. Yesterday was okay, I suppose. I made sure to get enough fluids. Had dinner at my friend's house, but I kept my portions small so it wasn't too many calories. Went over by just over 100. Can't complain because I had the lowest weigh-in yet.

    Yesterday's Calories: 1510
    Today's Weight: 183.8

  • Hi everyone. I'm new here. This thread looks like a good place for me to be posting and held accountable.

    Here is my daily log ( I'll update as I go)

    5:15a Breakfast:
    1 oz raw almonds, small apple

    8:30a morning snack:
    1 slice low fat mozzarella cheese, 2c broccoli

    11:00 a morning snack (again!)
    1c baby carrots, about 10 radishes

    12:30p lunch:
    3oz chicken breast, 1/4c salsa

    3:30p snack:
    Small apple

    4:00p:
    Ran about 4.5 miles

    5:30p dinner:
    2 turkey sausages w/ lite buns
    1.5c steamed asparagus
  • Love the new pics RadioJane! Real progress

    I finally came down with the stomach bug that everyone in my family had, and spent the last 24 hours throwing up and with diarrhea. It's tough when you have it, but it was pretty much gone within the 24 hours, today I am just weak.

    Obviously I didn't eat and I even called in to work, first time in probably 5 years! But I'm better now, Thank God!

    I weighed in at 151.5 this am, which is 3 lbs lost since yesterday, but I'm sure it's just dehydration and such. It will go back up when I start eating again.

    ewww xD i am really not a fan of spicy stuff. i was thinking of making some crab sushi. ive got the nori and the crabmeat and the rice, so why not? even though i always make a mess with it xP

    I was walking on air yesterday afternoon because I found my old WW account login information, and was able to determine what I weighed when I was in college in 06 (which was probably the last time I got on the scale before this attempt). Here I thought I'd gained at least 100 pounds since I'd moved home and that I still had to be way bigger even though my face looked thinner in photos. Turns out I weighed 382. Which is only about 65 pounds less than my highest, and is 60 pounds less than what I weigh now! So validating to know that I'm not just undoing the last two years, I'm smaller than I was at 22!

    I was so inspired that I found a picture of me at my slimmest in 2001 and changed it to my facebook pic. Well I got like 3 compliments on how great I looked and I just laughed. My youngest brother is in the picture with me (he would have been 10 at the time, he's 22 now). How could they think it was recent? So when I explained they were like "Oh. Well you look great now too!"

    Down to 319 today. Which makes me 1.5 pounds away from halfway to goal.

  • Hi everyone

    Whew, what a day! I got up super early even though I could not sleep much last night... drove the 2.5 hours to the Island and did two solid hours of water dancing! Then came over to the B&B and had coffee and the lunch I had brought. Chopped the veggies for the birthday party tonight and am now crashing out for a bit before I hit the hot shower and get ready for dinner with my special friends. We are all pretty health conscious but I happen to know there is going to be lemon cake and lemon sorbet there... ALL of us love lemon so I will undoubtedly indulge in a small amount of that, yum. Lots of good salad stuff too though, along with a main dish.

    I got a free upgrade to a water view room which I LOVE... yay! They do that for their most frequent guests when they can. So I am enjoying being spoiled for tonight LOL... will have to move tomorrow to a different one because this one is booked but that's okay!
