  • A hot streak is a number that represents how many days in a row you can stay on track with something (you decide what you're streaking for yourself - water, food, exercise, staying on plan, staying binge-free, etc.).

    Each day you can check in to let everyone know if you have stayed on your hot streak and then add to your number that you posted the day before, or if you broke your streak and are starting over! The goal is to try to TOP YOUR OWN HOT STREAK RECORD!

    You can also have multiple hot streaks (one for each focus area).

    So for example, a person could post his/her hot streaks like this:

    Goal: Current Streak/Longest Streak
    Water: 4/14
    Stayed under 1600 Calories: 5/10
    Reached over 6,000 steps: 3/12

  • I like this too! I'll give it a go. I think I'll tack staying within my calorie budget (under 1750) and being binge free (I'll count a binge as going 300+ calories over, this has been known to happen at night for me).

    I just went through my food journal to see what my longest "hot streaks" were - holy cow that was eye opening! It seems like I have a pattern of eating on plan for 3 days in a row, then go over on the forth. I gotta nip that in the bud!

  • I would like to join you! I just gave up pop (I'm on day 2 of that) and really need to stop bingeing (yesterday was my last, I hope). So I don't have a longest streak to post for either yet.

    Binge-Free (planned indulgences are fine as long as I don't have more than I planned or spiral out of control): 5/5

    Get a minimum of 6,000 Steps/Day: 3/3

    Days I feel like my mind is right and I am generally "On Plan" (this might be the most important one for me): 13/13

    I had to keep busy to not think about food and diet coke all day, but I did it. :-)

    Tomorrow I'm starting an 8 week "total body transformation" at Kosama. Getting weighed and measured anyway... Workouts start Monday at 5 am!!
