  • So I stopped by the kids school to deliver some stuff to different rooms (I am the PTO secretary) and I know most of the teachers. Some know I have been doing Ideal Protein and some have just heard about me dieting.

Anyway a bunch made nice comments and then one teacher who 2 of my kids have had was like Kara, your butt is sagging! I was like really? She is like yeah, your pants are getting WAY too big! Couple others around agreed.... which is a good thing.

So I went home and found my size 22 pants (was wearing a 24) and she was right! They are different brands and the 24 was a big 24... I was able to pull them up and down without having to unbutton them... should have been my first clue they were getting big! But they weren't like my slacks that were just falling off me.

So today I wore my size 22 pants and my 22/24 shirt and felt GOOD! When I started I was so close to having to go to a size 26 pant and my 26/28 shirts were getting small too.

Plus while looking for my size 22s I found some size 20 jeans I kept! I hate spending money on jeans so I always seem to keep them!
  • Woo hooo!!
  • That's great!
  • Congrats! You are doing so great!!!
  • Good for you! You are doing so well.

I also have sizes down to about 16 in jeans hanging around, so I'll be good for quite a while.
  • So happy for you, keep at it.

What a gift to your own self. Way to love yourself and take care of your body.
  • Awesome!!
  • Yay!
  • Maybe, just maybe some day I can buy some skinny jeans lol! Usually mine are a bit baggy but I WANT to show it off... so weird because normally I like to keep everything hidden and covered.

I have even been showing more (and wanting too) clevage lately!
  • I can relate...I wore one my new suits to work on Friday when someone said she knew that I had on a new suit because it actually fit and wasn't bagging all over.
  • I have a pair of jeans I bought in the summer. They were nice and form fitting but now they are looking baggy. I was able to pull them off without unzipping too. I was still debating though about whether or not to keep them because I don't have many other pants that fit right now but I agree with what you said about wanting to look good and wear fitted clothes. I feel better when I switch sizes so I should just give up the pants and move on to something new.
  • Best feeling ever!! Congrats!!
  • LOL!! I'm an elementary teacher and my teacher friends were giving me a VERY hard time about my baggy butt pants! I guess we are a honest group! I have gotten 2 pairs of pants, 2 leggings, and 2 jeans that fit me now. I need more but it's nice to have people compliment me instead of laugh at me!!

    CONGRATS!!!!

I went into Target Friday and decided just for the heck of it to try on some size 16 regular jeans. Wanted to see how close I was to fitting. Well they FIT!!! yes, I bought them. I went home to try on some Lee jeans that my hubby had given me for Christmas in a size 18. I'm returning them tomorrow. They are too big. Since I haven't been seeing my coach and been in recovery mode I haven't been measuring but I think I may have lost an inch or 2
