I will try one. I've been trying to exercise daily and have a tendency to quit after a few weeks... I've been going since the 7th now so.... I'll make this level 2 but hope...no plan to ace it instead of pausing.

Day 1: Exercised... volunteer day at the hospital so I did a lot of walking.
  • You guys are amazing! I can't wait until my next 21 day challenge where I will incorporate exercise as well.

  • Good Morning All,
Im a newbie to this challenge and so glad that I found it.
I think Im going to start with my water intake.
I seem to hardly ever be thirsty so this will be hard for me.
Plus I dont like drinking water..lol.

So todays starts day 1 for me.
Im going to drink a minimum of 50oz per day.
  • Count me in.
I'm planning for drinking 64 oz of water and exercise 30 mins minimum per day both at Level 1

1/29 Day 0: Drink 64 Oz water, Exercised 30 mins
  • Thank you LuvCats. Really, keeping my focus on 21 days at a time has done wonders for my commitment. The time just seems to fly by!

NightAngel26, my elliptical is a Welso Momentum 710. I got it from Walmart about 10 years ago (yikes that's a long time, lol) for about $150. I wanted to get a treadmill back then, but new ones are so pricey! It's held up great after all these years, and I've used it very frequently. Ellipticals seem to have a lot fewer parts that can break down, so I think it's a great investment.

Day 1: exercised (run + weights) / stayed under 1500 cals
Day 2: exercised (walk) / stayed under 1500 cals
Day 3: exercised (elliptical + weights) / stayed under 1500 cals
Day 4: exercised (elliptical) / stayed under 1500 cals
Day 5: exercised (elliptical + weights) / stayed under 1500 cals
Day 6: exercised (run) / Used pause #1 on calories!
Day 7: exercised (run + weights) / Used pause #2 on calories!
Day 8: exercised (run + elliptical) / stayed under 1500 cals
Day 9: exercised (run) / stayed under 1500 cals
Day 10: exercised (walk) / stayed under 1500 cals

Woo, almost at the half way point again! Hope everyone is doing well!
  • Goal: Exercise everyday (Level 2 but trying to ace it).

Day 1: Exercised... volunteer day at the hospital so I did a lot of walking.
Day 2: Elliptical for 40 minutes (1.25 miles). The most in a long, long time! Yay.

Great job everyone! Lol @ the elliptical discussion. Mine is old too. Brand Nordic Track. Not sure how old but less than 16 years probably and more than a few.

  • Good Morning everyone! Everyone is doing great. Welcome to the newbies as well and good luck on your goals.

I desperately miss using the Elliptical at the gym, but can't justify spending 60 bucks/month just to use an elliptical. So when I do get my but in gear for exercise (it will be my next 21 day challenge) I'm going to be walking!

Challenge: Stay under 1500 calories (No Exceptions)

    Day 1: 1425 Calories
    Day 2: 1427 Calories
    Day 3: 1421 Calories
    Day 4: 1388 Calories
    Day 5: 1425 Calories
  • Goal: Exercise everyday (Level 2 but trying to ace it).

Day 1: Exercised... volunteer day at the hospital so I did a lot of walking.
Day 2: Elliptical for 40 minutes (1.25 miles).
Day 3: Elliptical for 25 minutes (.75 mile). Slower today but still feels great.

    Great job everyone!!

I'll bet you could find an elliptical on Craig's list or want adds cheap, Laura78. I wouldn't be using one myself if I had to depend on the gym. Just don't do gym well... I've tried multiple times and just don't end up going.
