  • + grateful for coffee this morning as I was up way too early

    + remembered to do the financial report for this morning's meeting on Saturday

    + testing for Thera-Paws went well - eight dogs and owners passed

    + gray flannel dress pants now fit

    + pumpkins - such happy creatures

    + signing contracts this afternoon for renovation of the Old Town Hall

    + roasted Brussels sprouts planned for dinner tonight

    + the last of the fall strawberries in my cereal this morning

    I just got home from a wonderful visit with my grandkids and their parents. I am so grateful.

    My sister is coming to visit! I am so grateful for that , too.

    Saw so many pretty leaves. My favorite time of the year.

  • + Disney is having tooth problems but my vet is going to fix her up. I am grateful I can afford doggie dental work.

    + yellow wild grape leaves mixed with red Virginia creeper - lovely on the fences!

    + some nice donation cheques for the Mill

    + roasted Brussels sprouts - a fall meal

    + another quilt is ready for binding. (I love to hand sew bindings while watching TV in the evening.)

    + my calendar that reminds me of things I forget - like people for dinner next Tuesday

    - my sister can't come today, afterall - I am so disappointed. But, I am grateful she realizes her limitations for a 10 hour trip alone. She's just not strong enough yet

    - my warm sweatshirt on over my flannel nightgown.. good combo.
