This is my 2nd time on IP and the first time I did well. I lost 24 lbs in 8 weeks and had to stop the protocol because of financial reasons. I gained ALL my weight back!!! Now I am looking to try alternatives. After reading a few threads, I see that some people are substituting the shakes and the meals with different products. Will substituting IP food decrease the amt of weight lost per week? I still go to the office to get weighed in but I know if I say that I am on alternatives that I will be kicked off the program. Super confused. Would like to lose 45 lbs by Dec. 1. Please help
