Stuck half way there...

  • I started my weight loss journey being 5'7 weighing 185, about 7 months ago. I now weigh 170, looking to lose another 10-15 pounds, but have been stuck at this weight for about 3-4 weeks! I got this far with strictly the elliptical and some light weight lifting. Anyone have any exercises that helped them push past the plateau? anything helps!

I have a difficult time running, although thats some advice I have received.
  • Running and swimming are prob the two single best exercises for weight loss because you burn so much while doing them . Running helped me break my plateau, while smoothing out my legs and thighs

Your body is getting bored with the same workout, when this happens you reach a plateau... My recommendation is to change your workout. You can do this by adding intensity to your elliptical, taking up another type of cardio, like walking, running, biking, swimming... You should also increase your weights and your exercises when it comes to weight training...
