So much food!

  • So I started using Sparkpeople...
    I just feel crazy because I have to eat so much food just to reach 1200 calories! Not to mention getting my protein!

    I eat a lot to vegetables and fruits which of course are low in those areas but I was having a talk with my friend who is currently on Weight Watchers and she said it was good and that I would eventually get used to it. She said something about it retraining my metabolism?

    I was just wondering if this was really a thing. I am eating healthy and eating proper portions. I just feel like I am eating sooooo much! Plus piling up my 8 cups of water a day on top!

    I haven't weighed myself yet because I am scared there won't be a loss....
  • Add in more calorie dense foods like nuts, full fat dairy, avocado, and oil. If you typically steam you veggies, add some oil and roast them. Eat full eggs instead of egg whites, etc.
