  • Wow, can't believe I'm posting so early today. I was up at 4:30 today to catch a 3-hour flight to Toronto. I'll be there for a 5-hour meeting, dinner then back on a 3-hour flight home. My day will be about 19 hours long. However I chose this instead of going overnight so it would be easier for other reasons.

My IP food is packed. A couple baggies of veggies and a bag of lettuce. After talking to my coach about options, we decided on two restricteds for ease of travel. I'll have a bar at the business lunch then soy puffs to snack as I need something through the day. I'm concerned about getting hungry over so many hours and then making a bad choice. I am also bringing an extra drink packet in case I need an emergency 4th packet. I hope the planning has me covered.
  • I have been 100% OP for 27 days now, according to my test strips I was out of Ketosis for about a week, but back in today. I only get weighed every 2-3 weeks so not sure if I lost or not. So my question is, can you go in and out of ketosis and still lose weight as long as you are 100% OP?
  • Happy Tuesday everybody!

Boy, do I feel great today. Today is the best I have felt in a very long time. I dont know why today is different but I feel happier and more awake/ aware and more energy. I am not going to question it I am just going to enjoy it.

I hope everyone has a great day

You cannot always rely on the strips. As long as you have been following the plan 100% you have been in Ketosis.

Congratulations! I was wondering what happened to you...I haven't seen you on the boards lately. Keep up the great work!
  • Good morning to you all! I woke up at 5:30 and decided to get up because I got to have my Phase 3 breakfast of granola, greek yogurt and berries. Oh joy !!!

Have a delightful first day of Spring !!!
  • Well today is day 24 on IP! Yesterday, I had my family over, ordered pizza, breadsticks, etc and was content to eat my salad! I am down into another set of 10's (according to my scale) and I'm very happy about that! I have a roadtrip today and will be gone/not able to weigh in this week. I have my food packed and ready to go! I have stocked up on bars, premades, hard boiled eggs, pickles, etc. Totally have the mindset to stay OP during this short vacation!

Hope everyone has a great week!

    Kitkat,
Let us know how it goes I'm always interested in how people prepare for long days away from home as well as longer trips. My life involves eating out a fair amount plus at times, long business days and several 2 and 3 week trips throughout the year. My husband loves to eat out and drink fine wine, makes this a challenge. All tips appreciated.

One quote I picked up from these boards that I find helpful and always makes me smile: "I am stronger than that cookie."

Hope you have a great, 100% OP day,
    Chloe

    AMAZING!!!!
  • Had my WI! I am down 3.5 and very happy about that. You can see my weight bounces around a little, so feeling happy I'm on the right trajectory.

My body is going through changes w/ HRT and thyroid medication started w/in the past 2 months. Plus I exercise pretty hard w/ a trainer twice a week, which I've done for the past year (exercised most of my life). In January started a new 3X/week exercise program (Power Plate) to really accelerate body strengthening and improve a situation with my back/core. Both types of workouts are so important to me. I was doing these before I started IP in February, and I need the exercise for medical reasons, so keeping it up.

What it means is that I do eat a little extra (extra packet, unrestricted) and drink extra water.

Wishing all of you a great 100% OP day,
    Chloe
