    suzukigurl You rock! I am glad you are making such great changes! I've never been a big food eater. My weakness is sweets! I am working on focusing my cravings to fruit. Nice job on the loss!

    I am down .4 today! I did day 5 of the shred (after taking the weekend off) and I was able to keep up with almost the whole level! I'm going to do some just dance 2, wii fit and some shred today!
  • Got up earlier than usual and hit the track WI @ 157.8..up.2! now that is the same thing I've been getting w/o mroning walks/jogs..sigh.. want to throw that scale out the door.

    Great job on the 1.2 yesterday Angie you're enjoying getting out now,huh? that's great!!! you and Cameron doing things Thanks,yeah..i need to get one too It was all good when i was going to Curves They did all that stuff the gym does take my BMI and weight.they might take measurements too. I never asked about that.I've just been going by how my clothes fit for now.
    But Really,at this point,I'm happy with my eating lifestyle now,the way i think about food now and how I just want to exercise all the time now,so everything is good. Been working on my mentality of the scale for a long time now.I'm much better than i use to be. Sometimes,There's Just some things I question(when i let that negativity,doubts in) and write my thoughts here.I guess no matter how hard i try, to not let a number on the scale effect me,it does sometimes.Constant work in progress.

    Go get those 4 lbs Rennie you can do it give it all you've got your son is a great cook,huh? that's awesome thank you yeah,people seeing things about me that I don't /haven't noticed makes all the work so worth it.I was so tired the other day after Power Pump class I just leaned up against the wall,a girl (i talk to all the time) passed by..I said,"sometimes I wonder if all this is worth it" She said,"look at you! Have you looked at yourself! what do you want! do you want to just disappear! Mother told me the other day." You're like those people on TV,The ones that never know when enough is enough and think they're still fat when they aren't" She said,"My poor baby Daughter,I never thought my daughter would be like that" She said," I give up,just run on then" saying when my family ask her have i stopped yet,where I'm i,she tells them,nah..she's somewhere still exercising
  • I did my audition and I was really happy because I did my absolute best but then my whole group was sent away and we found out they were only picking about 20 people out of 10,000 and we weren't one of the 20. So much talent and only a few spots. It was disappointing and then I got in a funk and let my diet go out the window when we got to the Hard Rock Cafe for lunch. Even when I got home I was a mess yesterday, everything in my mouth! I wanted sleep and food!
    Well, I got some sleep and it's time to get back in control! So, here I am making myself accountable and starting afresh!
    I still have a revival to sing at on April 1st so I gotta get these 4 lbs off that I just gained

    A little update on myself: I've been getting back into the swing on things after my camping trip. I finally got outside to walk again even though it looked like it was about to rain. For the first time my feet didn't hurt (or my leg) when I got through walking. Yay! I finally must be getting used to this. I walked for 52 mins and then came in and ate dinner. Only problem was that after the walk I was starving and ummm... I ate a bit too much I felt a little miserable after eating. I don't want to even look tomorrow at the scale . I don't want to lose my 1.8 pound loss due to over eating . Oh well, gotta keep chugging along if it does or doesn't.


    qtapostolic - I'm sorry you didn't get in. It also kinda stinks that they only had 20 spaces for all of those people . I'm sure you and your group did the best they could (I'll bet you guys were great). Don't worry too much about your slip ups maybe you didn't do as much damage as you think that you did, you would be surprised. This weekend I really thought the worst and only gained a half of a pound. Good luck on April 1.

    OnaMi - Good job! And I love the quotes from what you have said everyone has been telling you . It must feel a lot better then those other things people say when your another weight.

    justaloozer - The Wii Fit Plus is awesome when you can't get out or it is too late to go outside. Good job on .4!!

    - I know what you mean. I used to be a big time coke/pepsi person when I went out I'd order one or two then take home another cup of it. I wouldn't buy the stuff to put in my house after a while because I began drinking even more of that stuff. Finally, when I started trying to shed pounds, I figured out that I would probably lose even more if I stopped drinking that stuff. I cut back a lot it's to the point now that I would rather have a sweet tea half cut when I go out now. That's because coke/pepsi's are both now too sweet for me. Congrats on the 2 pounds!!!!

    Diana - on the 1.2!!

    aka8941 - I have to laugh because I was at that same point for a few weeks. Wow, I was a grump, that was because my feet hurt so badly when I started walking/jogging. So, yeah I've been there, I may have been negative at that moment but I wasn't giving up . For now I'm going to just walk until I lose a bit more then I'll going to try again later (walking/jogging). Glad you got back on track, just remember keep your head up things will get easier to you in time (or at least that's what I keep telling myself ).

  • Good Morning, Everyone!

    TTOM + Cracker Barrel + TTOM Insomnia = A Gain

    The gain is not too bad, so that's OK. Tonight is my monthly hair appointment. So, I will be eating at the Japanese restaurant. Tomorrow will probably be another gain. I can see an overall trend of my weight dropping a little. So I am happy about that. It still amazes me about how those allergic reactions effect me. I haven't been to the bathroom since Sunday, so I'm not sure what's up with that. I also seemed to have had a small reaction from something. The only food that I ate this weekend was food that I cooked. It's the same food that I eat all the time. The only difference was the almond butter. I had fast food for lunch on Monday, but I seemed to start to react before that. I was seriously thinking my lips had gotten dry/irritated from the dry air at the hospital. Everything is a wait and see. It's not that bad so I will hold off on the allergy medicine for now.

    Way to go Justaloozer you're doing great thank you Yeah, I'm building muscles.I use to track my inches all the time when I went to Curves cause they did it for me Seems like for the 1 first year and 1/2 stuff like that was Important and I'd keep track but since I decided to concentrate more on what I eat, build up my mentality about food,how certain things effect my weight in general..that's not Important any more.I know that If i eat healthy(be mindful about eating),not to much at one time and move everyday then the weight,inches would come off.I do keep up with my BMI though( checked at the gym).last time(at 159) I was a couple of lbs away from normal i think..IDK.

    Glad you had a nice walk last night Jinky and your feet and legs didn't hurt you're going to be jogging after while hope you have a great WI today I love my night walks too I wanted to go last night but just didn't feel like it I HAVE to eat before i go though (want to try and burn as much of all the days food as possible) which works out cause i eat dinner round 5-5:30.Thing is, afterwards not to get lazy Going morning and nights really shake the fat up
    Thank you yeah.. I appreciate every one's comments now(even though i don't see what they see) as apposed to "what have you been eating to make you so fat" or "if you could just lose a little weight,you'd look great cause you have a pretty face".I'm so hard on myself though I probably won't ever think I've lost enough and there will always be something about my body that i don't like.Just learning to Love myself, what the Lord has blessed me with(allowed me to do) no matter what, is something i work at daily.


    As for Me..I WI @ 157.8 again today.Jogged this morning,had to get up early again.No gym today.

    So I'm weighing in at 197.5, even in the middle of Tom. The scale is moving and I couldn't be more pleased.
    Lunch today was a healthy choice steamer and an avocado. Avocados are a lot of points but I love them sooo much and they help with blood pressure so I budget them in.

    Tonight is 5K club practice. Can't wait.
  • LOL Jinxy, I'm so glad to know that it's not just my that steps faster than the Wii Fit stepper. I love it and it does burn just the right amount of calories for me. on your 1.8 loss

    Angie I don't know when she's coming home. I got a call yesterday from her all of her paperwork is done so it's just a waiting game on when she'll ship (their term) smh = shaking my head (something I learned from my kids) like idk and idc ... at first I thought they were cursing at me on the sly. Good job on the 1.2 down on the 19th.

    LOL Ona, don't throw it out the door ... be gentle, you know it's got to move My two oldest boys are pretty good cooks. I haven't let the youngest boy attempt to do anything yet. He scares me, no caution with that boy at all. My husband doesn't cook and doesn't know how thanks to his Mom, 4 sisters, Aunts and cousins. I want to be able to come visit my sons and daughters and have a meal that taste like cooked it or better .

    Kelly sorry about the audition ... but you silly gal, that is not 4lbs of junk it's just salt/sodium ... I was gonna do it with you (4lb loss) but you can flush yours out quickly, water, water, water and sing your heart out at the revival ... have someone record it so you can post a bit for us

  • Hi everybody,

    Work is just nuts so I'm feeling a bit frazzled. I'm not getting enough sleep but just can't seem to get to bed any earlier. By the time I get home, feed the cats, work out and shower, it's 10:00 and I want to watch some TV before I go to bed. 4 more weeks of this and then I get my life back. And I'll have a big pot of overtime money to spend on fun stuff.

    Rennie, I hope Chelle gets home soon. It must be frustrating not knowing when you'll see her.
