    Information for newbies:

    Tickers and Signatures:

    There are 2 requirements to have access to signatures and tickers. You must have been a member of 3fatchicks for 20 days AND posted at least 20 messages anywhere on the 3fatchicks forum. When you've met those requirements check The Ultimate Signature and Ticker Thread for more information and instructions.

    Searching:

    If you can't find what you're looking for in this forum using the website search function, try using the "double search" using Google.

    1) Go to google.com. Search 3fatchicks by using the term site:3fatchicks.com at the end of your google search.

    For example, if you want to look for "big mac in a bowl", type "big mac in a bowl site:3fatchicks.com" in google search. No need to inlucde the quotation marks when you type.

    2) This will bring up the page that you are looking for, now hit Ctrl+F to search on that page. Type "big mac in a bowl" and all instances of that search term will be highlighted.

    My1st WI is tomorrow morning . I am very excited. This morning I am wearing a pair of blue jeans that I couldnt fit into last week. What a great feeling!

    Good Morning IPeeps:

    I hope everyong is having a wonderful morning so far. Well, weigh in #14 this morning and I am down another 2.4 pounds!!!!!!


    Good Luck to those that still have weigh in's coming up and congratulations to all those that have had them so far and have lost or maintained. I was out of town this week-end so I am playing catch up on the reading.

    Does anyone know the BEST time of day to weigh in on IP? I know usually its first thing in the morning before you eat but I didn't know if it was different on IP
  • Good morning IPeeps! My baby is still sick- double ear infection. Hubby is staying home with him since it is easier for him to take off work. I have my food packed for the day and ready to take off for work. Great job on the loss, Rissimo. Have a great day all!

    Any time of the day is fine it does not much matter, but your true weight is
    first thing in the morning after you use the restroom and before you drink any of your water. Make sure that you are in your birthday suit!!

    You want to keep it the same time everytime you weigh in.
  • Well good morning, This morning is my WI#2, leaving here in about an hour heading to Gainesville. Excited to see how I did this week. I know I have lost inches, I'm fitting into a pair of jeans I haven't wore in about 6 months.

  • Tomorrow will be my first day on the IP program and hopefully the first day of a very exciting journey. After reading through pages and pages of this site ive gained a lot of knowledge and tons of inspiration! I'm looking forward to using this site throughout my IP journey! Today I'm Grocery shopping and filling my fridge with veggies- with my hubby and I both starting the program I know that planning ahead is going to be key.

    Nothing wrong with being excited to have a ticker. It's a great tool and once in a while I look at mine and think "oh, remember when it was on the other side"...

    My offical WI during weight loss is in the afternoon so I always stop drinking water about 2 hours before (get everything I need in first) and wear the same clothes. I hide my home scale MONTHS ago because I was in a vicious cycle of weighing myself.

    When I'm in maintenance I'll be weighing like rissimo does, in the morning after going to the loo and in my birthday suit.

    So I had my favorite NSV so far! I was at a kids consignment sale with some ladies I haven't seen since last fall and they were asking me what I was doing, how much I had lost, how I was doing it, ect. It was so nice to have someone see my weight loss and comment on it, it's the first time that's happened! I was on cloud 9! They were in a little bit of disbelief as I told them I started in January and have lost 25lbs since then, but it was good. Oh, and I brought my boiled eggs and pepper strips and had a great dinner!

    It's up to you, but I would keep in consistent from week to week. That was one of my problems going to my clinic, I was always weighing in at different times throughout the day which can mess with your numbers. I do it first thing after I get up, put my contacts in (so I can see the scale!) and go to the bathroom.

    Poor baby!! Ear infections are so rough, and they come out of nowhere! We're going in next month for tubes in our youngest.
