  • + so glad Beverlyjoy is back and healing

    + my friend Linda is a relaxed and easy guest - like a sister

    + I have a cold but it's not knocking me out completely

    + fun Book Club here last night

    + sunshine and no freezing rain
  • Today I am grateful that it's Saturday!!!!! No work today!
  • - a good night's sleep

    - warm blankets

    - family, friends and all the chicks
  • - my willingness to not run around and do too much

    - a long talk with four year old GS on the phone yesterday - it just made my day.

    - there is often great wisdom in a sentence or two. Never ceases to amaze me.

    - mild day yesterday - all the kids were outside playing. Such amazingly mild weather

    - my heart balloon that says 'Hugs & Kisses' - so cheerful. I love how the mylar balloons last for a long time.
  • + soft puffs of snow falling this morning

    + great day of "touring" yesterday

    + easy and casual supper with lots of wine

    + did not cough too much during the night
  • * Beautiful sunny but chilly day. I love when the temperature is chilly but the sun warms my face!

    * Bought lots of beautiful produce at the farmers' market yesterday. Enjoyed fresh grapes and strawberries for breakfast today! Can't wait to cook something yummy with the colored peppers too!

    * Going to buy new workout clothes today or tomorrow and take a tour of my boyfriend's gym. Trying to work up the courage to finally take some group classes, since I've become bored with exercising at home alone.

  • - Shirley found out what is the matter with her health, has the medicine, has plan to help her get through it, has friends to help, has her walker and has some hope, too. It's good to just know what's what.

    - my little neighbors came over in their cheerleading outfits and did some cheers for me.

    - so many folks on the 'Beverly' team - I am so grateful

    - looking ahead with open eyes, kind of

    - Alex turns five this week - time flies!

  • + a wonderful and relaxing weekend with my friend Linda - laughter and a few tears

    + weight held steady despite wine and some indulgences

    + my cold is still with me but coughing didn't waken me last night

    + my reliable car took me to the Ottawa Airport and back in just 3 hours

    + the fridge is still loaded with veggies and more will come today in the Good Food Box - soup time!

    + napped instead of going to the Mill Board meeting yesterday

    + Linda and I got the Barnyard Boogie quilt ready for stitching

    + feeling OK today despite the coughing and sniffles
  • - I did not need any pain medicine besides Tylenol yesterday. I am very grateful.

    - good sleep last night

    - glad to be working on the literacy project again

    - Rachel is accepting it will take longer than she wants to heal

    - comfy chair

    - Alex loves his Tae Kwon Do class - he told me that he 'kicks and punches the air.'

  • * Woke up feeling sore today, after going to the gym yesterday for the first time ever! Glad I got a good enough workout to be sore!

    * Slept great!

    * Excited to call mother today to tell her I went to the gym and actually enjoyed it!

    * Looking forward to a fun date night with my boyfriend

    * All the support from 3FC, calorie counting website, friends, family
  • - one week has passed since my gallbladder & hernia surgeries. Hernia surgery still hurts but is managable without narcotics. Am grateful for that.

    - today is Alex's fifth birthday - time sure flies by.

  • + a sunny day today after a prediction of rain!

    + snow is melting quickly - early Spring?

    + snowdrops are pushing up through the ice in the side bed

    + cold is getting better but I'm glad I canceled this weeks activities

    + nice tea break with Barb yesterday - discovering we have a lot in

    + Donna who cares for and worries about me - sometimes I need a Mom
  • - had a restful sleep

    - my joints don't hurt even though it's cloudy today

    - feeling unburdened after a good cry
