South Beach for maintenance?

  • I am considering switching to SBD from weight watchers for maintaining. I am tired of counting points. Although I am lifetime I would like to lose 5 more pounds. Should I just go to phase 2? How would I do that? Or start with the phase 1?
  • The book says if you need to lose 10 lbs or less to start with phase 2
  • If you are used to eating foods with white flour and sugar, you may be better off doing a week or so of Phase 1, just to get rid of any cravings and detox, before easing into Phase 2.
