I did it for many reasons. Mainly because it's strange living in a rather conservative community with purple, blue, and black hair. Portland, OR doesn't bat an eye at crayon colored hair. Not the same for Arizona. So I went with something a little more normal. But, also, it's to celebrate a new me. I'm fiery and I'm sassy and I'm determined to be reborn like the Phoenix that I am. So... RED! Makes sense.
John, my stylist (I call him the Hair Dr.) is a saint and needs to be wooted to the moon and back. He had quite the daunting task. I wish I'd taken photos. At one point, my hair was green, blonde, and very dark brown. Like a bad run in with a chemical pool!
