  • - it's early in the morning.. and the birdies are singing... even before the light of day.

    - dh is 'on a roll' with his job. So many things are coming together for him.

    - Isaac who helps me in the garden this week.

    - a few of my storytelling friends still contact me even though I havn't been active in our group

    - family, friends, you guys, internet, music

    - new shoe laces the right length
  • + a glorious day coming up
    + Cathy will help me finish some Village planting this morning
    + lettuce, strawberries, goat cheese and balsamic vinegar for dinner last night - yummy!
    + Wendy did a wonderful job on my foundation plantings in just six hours
    + Jazz is finally learning not to jump up
    + my aches and pains and mosquito bites are quite tolerable this morning

    Edited to Add:

    + payroll was done before 8:00 A.M. - thanks to the online deductions calculator
    + the cat next door came for a lovely visit while I was taking the trash out to the road
  • Long days of daylight - and mostly sunshine after a dreary spring in NW PA

  • + no big damage from my fall in the garden centre yesterday
    + strangers helped me up and were very concerned - one guy offered me his freezie
    + found wonderful deep purple petunias for the planters
    + crazy book club meets tonight - I love this group of friends
    + Donna is supposed to come to clean today
    + strawberries
  • - enough rain yesterday for the plants

    - youtube... always something there for a laugh or entertainment

    - my small pots of sedum on the deck

    - family, friends, you all, fb,internet, cell phone, faith, music

    - tree in the front looks so pretty

  • - wonderful long talk with Mike yesterday. He wrote an plan of action at the bank and ended up getting the branch some new accounts. He got a thank you from the regional manager and a gift card for a dinner out with Meg. He's feelin' good.

  • + my ability to take a half hour nap - I have a great internal alarm
    + red and green ruffles of leaf lettuce - almost too pretty to pick
    + a delightful evening with my Book Club friends at the Lake despite the mosquitos
    + my huge veggie garden was tilled by neighbour Moel yesterday - I can plant!
    + got more work done on summerizing the front porch
    + audit report is nearly complete
    + perfect summer days predicted for this week
    + white Japanese Silk lilac is coming into bloom and smells wonderful

    - mom is excited about going to the Chinese Restaurant for Father's Day with Murray

    - I started choking yesterday and was able to 'pop it out' by coughing and giving myself the Hiemlech manuvear to myself on a chair. I am lucky. They would have found me dead in a puddle of pee (from coughing so hard). LOL

  • It's Father's Day and I am grateful for my Dad and all he taught me. He's been gone since 1998 but I still hear him.

    + my raised bed is supplying Liz's family and me with lovely salads this week
    + I remembered I need to make a dessert for Wednesday's Quilters' Luncheon
    + today will be a balance between volunteer things and personal things IF I make it so
