I'd weighed myself at my Mum's house, thinking I'd weighed about 170, maybe 175. I was surprised by the number although I'd known I'd gained. Today I took the 4km walk to the store to buy myself a proper scale, secretly thinking I'd be surprised by a reading of 170 or so, since I'd had a couple friends mention I'd been looking slimmer. In reality, I weight about 20 lbs heavier than I thought. It's a huge blow to my confidence and I suddenly don't know where I stand with my goals. They feel impossible. Has anyone else been here? Felt suddenly shocked by a weigh-in? Any tips?
You are all lovely and I sincerely applaud those who have realized their goals - it's truly inspiring.
