  • I just realized that April of last year was the first month I participated in the Daily Weigh In threads! I started April of 2010 about 80 lbs heavier than I started April 2011!
  • Eclipse - Well we're even now because I'm all weepy over the rabbit.

    Mandy - I'll be praying you don't get blown away.

    JamiSue - The biscuits are my favorite part too. Hubby and I are in the middle of adopting a foster child (or children), so we have some projects going on with the house to get ready for the inspections. The neighborhood we live in wasn't hit, but the base where hubby is stationed was hit hard. It's about 5 minutes from our neighborhood. Millions of dollars of damage was done (over 100 homes, at least one plane that will never fly again and possibly 2 more, the fire station, the school, and other buildings), but the base had no loss of life, so we're thankful for that.
  • FitGirly -- Wow! I am so sorry to hear about all that damage. Thank god no one was hurt! I'm so happy and excited to hear about the child(ren) adoption. Wish I could be there to lend a helping hand to get your house ready to make a home for those very lucky kids! Good luck!

  • I couldn't bring myself to get on the treadmill tonight, which means I have 9k to cover to make my April distance goal, and just two days left in April . I think I'd better plan to do a lot of walking on Saturday. Actually, I suggested to Cameron that maybe we should go to the zoo, so that might just do it.

    Vixsin -- Gaining sucks..boo! Gaining for no reason really really sucks. Well chickie, we must fight on. I'm not doing great overall for the month either, at my current weight I've lost just over 3 lbs.

    ONa - Congrats on the 1lb today!!!

    Roxy -- That is so sweet of you to save the fish for that little boy.

    Mandy -- I'm glad the little wii man is back in your good books!

    Jamisue -- Thanks! I think I thought it was slow because when I was working with a trainer they always seemed sort of disappointed when I told them my max speed. Maybe they were getting a bonus for people who went faster Now I'm feeling pretty proud of myself...I'm glad I mentioned it! BTW the 5 is rarely and only for 1 minute at a time.

    We ate at Panera last night. I had 1/2 soup, 1/2 sandwich. I think the sodium from the soup jumped on me. I was 100% on plan and in my calorie range. That's all we can do. Fight on!

    22. 223 (+2) It was my 30th birthday!! But I think I did to much celebrating the day before. But I was moving out of my old apartment and into my new. There are a lot of stairs and no elevator in my new place. Also the whole neighborhood is completely walkable so I was walking everywhere that day.

    Vixsin - Hope your allergies are better today. I woke with quite a bit of sinus congestion myself today.

    Today is my official weigh-in day. Down 1.8 for the week. Time to start exercising so I can bring that weekly number back up. Exercise will definitely not be a problem this weekend. I think the weather will finally cooperate and I'll get the decks stained and the railings painted.

  • I am so grateful for this Friday. Work has been insane and I cannot wait until the day is over. Finally weighed in for the first time since Monday... I think... I can't even remember. Pleased that the scale has gone down to 198.4. I think that's about 1 lb down since my last WI. Supremely happy that I was able to do so during a crazy time. Must be all that water I've been chugging will check back later for personals.
  • And I am up ANOTHER random pound to 199.0 today. I am super frustrated at that but I am tired of racking my brain and dissecting my entire night to find out what I could've done differently to prevent the random gains that all have been happening this WHOLE WEEK!!!!!!!!!

    Still feel bloated so I know the gains are water. Still making good choices with the food. Had a great workout last night. I was able to run for 30 mins straight yesterday!!! I felt SO strong! It was amazing. It is beautiful here today so after work I am going to harness up the pups and take them on a LONG walk before I go and get Maxwell. I think that will do us ALL some good!

  • Today is a lovely day so far! I got up early to watch the Royal Wedding before work. I have no idea why a wedding for 2 strangers makes me sappy. LOL I wish them much happiness.

  • So I promised myself normal food yesterday and then we went out for Chinese for dinner. I'm up another .6 to 177.2. Today is a new day! I made him promise normal food today. The refugee fish are doing awesome now, so that's a yay! I actually got some sleep last night, but I stayed in bed much later than usual. Hopefully I can get my routine back soon.

    JamiSue - Thank you. The handyman finished yesterday, so now we're just a good spring cleaning away from being ready for inspections.

    Angie - You're nowhere near as behind in distance as I am! You can do it.

    Vixsin - I hope the scale is nicer to you soon. It drives me nuts too when I don't have a reason for it.
