cherry ripe chocolate bar-points?????

  • cherry ripe chocolate bars are made by Cadbury in New Zealand.

I wish i knew what the point value for a bar is.

It's dark chocolate covered, thin layer of shredded coconut with cherries.

    Any help would be appreciated.
  • If you post the fat, fiber and calories, I'll be glad to help you!
  • cherry ripe nutritional value
It is not in calories, it is 1000Kg of energy, 13 grams of fat, fiber is unknown(although with dark chocolate, it is usually 3 g of fiber)

I don't know what the conversion to calories is from metric.
  • Are you sure that it's in kilograms--kg? I can convert it for you, but I'm not sure the units are right. Is is perhaps kg-m? Or kJ?
  • yes, cherry ripe again
The calories are in kjoules( what is that?) 1000, 13 gram fat, probably 3 grams of fiber with the dark chocolate and coconut.

To Monique, yes that is the product, only it is sold in bars, not those biscuit portions, maybe one bar equals about four of those portions. Thanks for that info page.

So any help in converting to WW points would be helpful.
  • Ok, I got it. 1000 kilojoules is equal to 239 calories. So, I am calculating the candy bar to be either 6 points (using zero fiber), or 5 points (using 3 fiber).

For future reference, here's how to convert from kilojoules to calories (which, for you science types, are actually kilocalories). Multiply the number of kilojoules by 0.239, and voila, you have calories.

Hope that helps! Hey, apparently you DO have to be a rocket scientist to figure some of this stuff out.
