One pound closer to...

  • Okay, here's a thought! I was thinking and writing in my journal about the next pound, and how right now it is enough to think about the next pound and then just keep putting one pound after the other, so to speak.

    That got me thinking. I will be one pound farther away from 269.2;
    - one more pound along the road to healthy
    - one more box of swiss rolls away from obese and unhappy about it (okay, that's only 2200 calories, but the point remains, right?)
    - one pound closer to collarbones
    - one pound closer to svelte
    - one pound farther from a sodium bounce or TOM gain into the 180s

I was having fun. What is your next pound closer to or farther from?
  • One pound closer to:
    not struggling with airline seat belts;
dancing (in heels, with a partner)

    One pound further away from:
    Awkward couch to standing movements
    Awful embarassing photos
  • One pound closer to:
    matching sexy undies
sex with the lights on (LOL I see a pattern)

    One pound further away from:
being tired when playing with my daughter
feeling like I'm the biggest person in the room
  • One pound closer to:
Wearing my cute clothes that I LOVE
Busting out my sexy lingerie for DH (woohoo!)
    Being able to run again

    One pound further away from:
Being the largest member of my whole family, extended included
Being the fattest among my group of friends... by a lot.
Not being able to fit into my clothes correctly, buying because it sort of fits not because I love it.
  • One pound closer to:
being able to exercise without pain
being able to wear cute clothes and SHOES
actually looking on the outside the way I percieve myself from the inside

    One pound further away from:
    diabetes
    heart attack
    muscle and join pain
    being looked at as disgusting
    wanting to be invisible

SOOOO many more benifits I can think of... but I'll stop there
  • One pound closer to
being able to look a stranger in the eye

    One pound further away from
buying clothes that fit and "hide" my body
  • Today's pound was 20% of my starting weight. That's one pound closer to wearing size 18s...which I can squeeze into but not wear. It's one pound closer to a 70 lb loss. It's a pound closer to finding myself again instead of hiding beneath the wall of blubber.
