Kind of Discouraged

  • I don't know why I feel so off today, but I'm just feeling discouraged about my weight loss efforts. I'm not doing badly, but it just doesn't quite feel like enough. Maybe its just some stress about work, etc spilling over, but I'm just feeling pretty discouraged tonight.

  • You're doing so well - don't let the blahs trip you up.

I can never keep the time difference straight, how soon can you head to bed? For me a good night's sleep makes EVERYTHING easier to deal with. And keeps me away from food when I'm feeling weak....

Sleep well my friend and here's hoping you'll wake up in the morning feeling strong and confident again.
  • I'm inspired by your 17 pound weight loss!! Be proud of that You're doing great just keep it up. I hope tomorrow brings you a fresh outlook and positive vibes!!
  • Good morning! I hope you feel brighter today.
  • I hope that feeling passes quickly, remember, it is just a feeling and it will pass. You are doing great! Keep it up, you won't regret it.
  • You are doing so well and have come so far, don't get discouraged and throw all that away now! Take it one day at a time and hang in there.
Think of just how much worse you'd feel if you blew it.
  • Quote: Good morning! I hope you feel brighter today.
I hope you feel brighter today, too!

All dieters will feel discouraged from time to time, so you're not alone. The trick to be successful with weight loss is to recognize that you're not the only one and keep chugging along. That's what I do, and have found it much easier than gaining it all back and then having to start all over again.

Best wishes! You are doing great! Almost 20 pounds is a super achievement! Give yourself a pat on the back!
  • Thank you everyone! Its so nice to be able to talk about this with people that "get it" and know that sometimes logic and emotions have nothing to do with each other in weight loss.

I do feel better this morning. I think last night was just one of those random times that I just couldn't see clearly how far I've come.

    On to better days!
  • Wishing you continued success. Stay strong! You're doing great!
