Exercise Victory!

  • Well, it is probably more of a realization than a victory. I've been waning in my motivation to get up at 5am everyday to fit this in. It is dark now at that time and I AM TIRED.

So, 2 days in a row, I snoozed until there was no time left. I regretted it all day. I was crabby. I ate worse. I had guilt.

Victory #1: I got up & hit it this AM. I feel awesome.

Victory #2: I did a pre-programmed interval course (hills & speed) on Level 7-8, and totally could have pushed myself to do more!

#2 is particularly exciting to me. I have never been atheletic & cardio has always been difficult for me. To see that I am working out at that level without seriously gasping for air or anything was AMAZING. I am not completely out of shape any longer, and in fact, I am almost bordering on being fit .

I also made it through 2 sets of Mandalinn8's killer planks (see an earlier plank thread). WOW...still working on those.

Thanks for reading. I just feel really proud of how fa I've come.
