October 3rd - I wonder?

  • I did some maths yesterday as I was checking up on the weights that I'm REachieving from last year.
    To get to where I am now took 59 days last year. This year - 58 days. That's pretty consistent.
    So I added up how long it took me to get to 177, the level I bounced back at last year, and that would take me to October 3rd.

    So here goes - seeing if, at the very least, I can REachieve it by 10/03, and hopefully beat it.

    I wish you well with that goal but do wonder if it is good for you to have a time related goal. You may handle it better than I do, but time related goals tend to make me discouraged. It works well for me to just focus on 5 pound chunks of weight and not worry about the time frame.
  • I am trying a time related goal for the first time...I have had open ended goals everytime, and just want to see if I put a date on it, if it will motivate me to get there more. Guess we each have to try, until we find out what works.
