  • Oh Heck, Why Not?
    Hi Friends! Great motivational tool here! I'm in! Whatever I can do to put the journey in the forefront of my mind. I hope to get into the 250's this month, so this will help! I weigh every day (2-3 times, if I'm being honest) but only count my Monday am weight. This month, I'll count every day! This might be a good tool too to spot trends like TOM, and weight fluctuations after a sodium filled meal...etc! Thanks for the thread!

  • I have "forgotten" to weigh sometimes. Not in the sense of completely forgetting that I'm trying to lose weight, but I might have some water before realizing that I haven't weighed yet and then not bothered because I knew it would be off.

    But between needing to update my GWF weight each day and then posting here, I expect I won't be forgetting any time soon!

    I may even start updating my ticker more often too!

    Glad others are seeing if daily tracking helps them too - I'm liking it so far, but I'm sure there will be days when I fluctuate up and I won't like it so much then! lol!

    Dang! I knew about the 3 lb whoosh today, but I didn't know about the 4 lb whoosh over two days!!
  • Well I had been bouncing back and forth between 229-228. One day it would 228.2 then 228.6 then 229.6 then 228.6 then 229.2 it was all over lol. I am so happy it finally went down. I think I realized yesterday how it works. I have to eat more. Some days I was hardly getting 1000 calories. But yesterday I listen to my body and ate when I felt hungry even if it was after 7PM. I ate lots of fruits and veggies too. And TONS of water. I think by the end of the day I was between 1300-1400 calories.

    I am not going to change my ticker until I have been at that weight for atleast 2 days or it goes down farther then 225.2 tomorrow.
  • back into the 220s! I even did an early ticker change for that, lol! (I usually change my ticker once a week, but this daily weigh in thing is making me reconsider that too)
  • Wow, PM! Good for you! I'd change the ticker too. That's huge! Then again, I change the ticker as soon as I see a new low.
  • so far not happy with the daily weight check ROFL gonna attribute my gain due to my sodium filled chinese lunch yesterday, even though I stayed totally OP calorie wise, heck I was even down 300 calories somehow. I even drank more water than normal.

    Looking for a whoosh , please!

  • I keep track on the thread going until March 17th, but I want to keep going! So I'm going to post here as well since it'll go longer.

    Mar. 3rd: 249.4 - Slightly sore, hope it's just water weight.
    Mar. 4th: 248.8 Still sore, and probably will be tomorrow from tonight's workout. But at least it went the right way!

  • I skipped the early morning workout today, so hopefully, I'll fit in a lot more activity throughout the course of the day. But if my "it takes 2 days to show on the scale" theory is correct, yesterday's good day with LOTS of activity and a 1300+ calorie deficit will show up tomorrow.
