Does anyone else find it a bit overwhelming to try and make everything they eat "healthy for you", as opposed to just eating everything in moderation? Well, I do. At this point I'm not going to be looking at "is this the healthiest thing for me" and never feeling satisfied. Instead, I'm going to try and eat less. That's it. I'm not talking about just eating PIE for dinner or anything like that! (even though that is a tempting thought. He he) More like if I want a tuna sandwich, I will eat just one sandwich with regular mayo and white bread, the way I like it. I'm not a fan of wheat bread and lowfat mayo, so why eat it and be dissatisfied? Why put myself in a position to binge to get that satisfied feeling elsewhere? It doesn't make sense for me, so I'm not going to do it anymore.
Anyone else only concentrating on eating less of whatever they like to eat? I'm not looking to be a super skinny model or anything. I would be happy at this point just to lose the double chin and unsightly muffin top.
