Menus August 2nd

  • So far I have no idea what I am going to eat, so I will post the results tonite!
  • I guess I am on CALP. No way for Atkins when the fresh corn is ready!
    B. Western Omelet
    (two eggs, slice of ham, green peppers and 1T of Onion)
    L. Chicken Wings
    Salad with bleu Cheese dressing
    D. Ethiopian Chicken
    Green Beans
    Couscous - just a half cup!

    That's the Plan anyhow.
  • Me i had 2 hard eggs for breakfast
    l- wendies double bacon cheese burger (they served it whout the bread!! in a DISH!!
    d- brocoli and cauliflower salad and who knows what else
  • So far today I've had:

    ~LLC
    ~Hot lemon water
    B~coffee (1 cup)
    2 eggs scrambled w/spinach, onions,mushrooms,parsley

    S~apple

    L~lettuce salad w/ 4 oz grilled chicken breast, red bell pepper, brocolli, lemon juice, flax oil and flaxseed/soymeal sprinkles

    S~Protein drink
    1 1/2 sticks celery
    D~(plan)
    hamburger patty, grilled
    brocolli/cauliflower
    lettuce salad w/ flax oil, etc.
    ~cherries (gotta eat them before they spoil)

    Bedtime~LLC
    ****And lots of cranwater today.
  • Since I hurt my dad's feelings and didn't eat the donuts he sent me this morning, I'll post my food for the day

    B-Protein shake
    L-Wendy's Mandrian chicken salad, less the noodles
    Sn-Blue Bunny Health Smart Creme Bar (1 bar 70c,18 total carbs{2g sugar 3g sorbitol 0g fibersure that adds up to 18??? } 2g protein, 0 g fat
    D-3chicken strips baked with mushroom soup and rice. Ate about 2T of the rice and 1/2 c green beans.

    I think that will be all,except more water and pain pills. I think I might go over to fitday and see how the numbers stack up.
  • What a mess!
    I am posting this just to see how bad it really was! It was a carb day from beginning to end. My only hope is that the calories were low enough to keep me from gaining, and I can get back on track quickly. I joked to someone that it was "carb loading." She said, really? Are you running a marathon?

    Hardly, I am just running to the refrigerator!

    b- at home, 1/2 banana(DH leftover from his shake)
    at work, shredded wheat(hospital package) with milk

    l-buffet party- salad, ham, pasta salad, rice, sweet potatoes, a couple of cookies

    d- chicken breast sliced over romaine with ranch dressing. Cantelope chunks.

    Well, not terrible, and no snacking in between, that is an accomplishment for me. Dinner was light and saved me. Tomorrow is another day.

  • Well, today was definitely not one of my better food days!

    b - usual cheese omelet

    l - salad w/can of tuna and 1/2 oz swiss cheese, ranch dressing

    d - (here it comes!) I was at the ballpark and ate:
    2 hot dogs with buns!!!

    s - 1 piece Atkins cheesecake........

    the only problem was, after I ate the hotdogs, I WANTED MORE MORE MORE!!!!! but, as you can see, I resisted - waited until we got home and had the "legal" cheesecake w/coffee while everyone else had french toast! It was ok, I really wanted the cheesecake instead!

  • Jif -- the Cyclones were up 1 - 0 when the lightening started getting very close -- and the seating in the stadium was all aluminum bleachers/risers!!! need I say more?
