Right or wrong, we love desserts at our house. Baked goods are always a favorite--homemade cookies, brownies, cupcakes, etc.
I was thinking this morning that maybe we'd be better off trying to figure out some fruit-based desserts, maybe some cobblers or crisps or something.
It would still be dessert, but might be a subtle way to wean ourselves off some of the baked goods.
What do you think?
What do you do for desserts when you're trying to lose weight/feel better?
I suppose we could always go "cold turkey" and skip desserts completely, but I know that wouldn't work here. Same thing with grabbing a piece of plain fruit--that just isn't "dessert".
