  • Quote: Kim and Jaime gave their excuses and I don't think Vix can at work. Anna and Billie have no excuses for not entertaining me.

I was educating the leaders of tomorrow. And not letting one of them get Starbuck because the little a$$hat would not put down the bouncy ball at the check out.

Also, I have circle tonight, so it is my monthly cheat day. scale was downish this morning.
  • I am taking my new knitting project with me tonight, which will cut down on the munchies. See? so smart.
  • Quote: ETA - I actually thought is said classy when I first read it which would have been even funnier.
She's classy, aren't we all in the same class? *looks around for teacher* OH, she IS the teacher! *snort*

Quote: Will I be able to visit the Palazzo Labia without giggling? I think not.
    I am giggling right now!

That is a good reason to take up the needles right there!

Heather, the falafel of the city eagerly await you!

As for vegan tzatziki I'd try this recipe and add a grated cucumber (all water squeezed out!) and a couple more cloves of garlic and a bit of black pepper. (I would also put citric acid powder for stronger lemon flavor)

Frozen oatmeal was a huge success! I will post pics, somewhere.

That is what my mom did. She decided no snacking in the evenings and created her "Knit not nibble" program!
  • Because you want to know every thought that passes through my head:

  • Quote: Looks like its just the three of us here today. Everyone else abandoned us.
    I haz a wurk tewday

Thankfully that's almost over... I'll be glad to get this asset sheet off my desk for 3 days.
  • I hate people.

I read. I'm not religious in the least and don't feel the call to go to services so I couldn't comment when I saw it earlier. Do what ye feel.
  • Back from lawyer. Things went well, I like the woman I saw.

Did you know you can write up a separation agreement in crayon on a napkin, have your husband sign it, and it will hold up? I mean, it's better if there's a notary hanging around, but it's not necessary.

Add that to Jo's automat and Anjuli's water boiling facts - we have ourselves a wealth of information around here today.

I think you should go, at least twice. Community can be a powerful force for reinforcing and/or awakening your spirituality, I think humans crave it (whether they like people or not) I'm a big believer in following those inner promptings which you know are good for you.

Speaking of that, JEN, take the job IMO. You won't regret doing something you love and want to learn.

Edited to add...I find that inner stillness/connectedness thing, for lack of a better word, in singing, that's what keeps me going back (being a part of a tradition, something larger than myself which consumes me entirely when I am participating in it). Silence seems like a good path, a time honored path actually, and at the very least you'll have a quiet hour to sit and reflect or meditate with no one demanding anything from you which seems like a good thing to me.

Yep, I did know that! Was hoping they'd suggest that and you could get it done before he is gone. Use guilt to your advantage, he must have some somewhere.

Yes, it is. Have fun tonight.

Weekend is here. This work day is almost over. Hope you have a wonderful and stress free weekend.

    Umm...did I miss something?

Nope, I had no idea. I'm glad you had a successful meeting. I hope things get better from now on.
  • My ravenous hunger has weirdly vanished. I had a cup of green tea thats it. So thanks Jo .
  • Berry salad, diet coke and a little over an hour to go.

I just got the asset sheet off to the boss (who wanted it ASAP but won't look at it til Monday )

He threw some quotes on my desk... I'll probably do them at 4:30 since he's gone for the weekend.

No plans for tonight... well I fib. I need to hit the store for a refresh on my produce while the boys play WoW on the computers... Other than that I'll probably make more stuff for etsy.

I've debated since last night whether I'm going to close my account there and start my own site or just let it fizzle out. I'd hate to make all this stuff and just have it sit. Maybe I'll get lucky at craft shows this spring/summer?

I found a whole box of yarn and crochet needles from where I wanted to make a quilt ages ago... hmmm....
  • Chelle, you should see if they have some kind of "local artisans" fair where they keep a small number of vendors and don't draw sellers from all over the state.
