Yesterday while we were at the store, I noticed that my sides (where my ovaries are) kept hurting. It felt worse than cramps. It was like a different kind of pain. I got really hot and almost fainted from the pain. When I got home, I took some advil and went to sleep. Well now the pain is back!!! It hurts soooooooooooooooooo bad!!!! It hurts to walk..it hurts to lay down. I dont know what it is!! I wanna cry so bad, but I'm holding it back. My hubby is on duty tonight so I have no contact with him. I dont even know when he'll check his email, and I dont know the numbers to the ship anymore. I seriously feel faint. What could this pain be?!?!?!
Could be a number of things!! Ovarian cysts, an infection, or much much worse......can you get a friend to drive you...and maybe leave them to get a hold of the husband?
I took some advil and put the heating pad over me. My friend came over to spend the night in case I need to go to the ER asap. Anyways..I'm gonna go to sleep right now.
You might be sleeping by now, but if the pain is that bad, I must INSIST that you go to the hospital or doctor RIGHT AWAY. Even if the pain has gone away by the time you wake up PLEASE go to the doctor! Pain is never a good thing, and is our body's way of saying "Ack! Something's not right!"

I agree with Faerie. I hope you have gone to the hospital or your doctor. It could be totally unrelated to ovaries. When I had gallstones, they would move around and get in the ducts and it would hurt all over my abdomen and chest. I'd feel like I was going to pass out and have to lay down wherever I was. But, it took a good doc to figure out what was causing the pain.
Please let us know how you're doing. I'll be praying for you.
That's pretty much how it was when I had ovarian cysts. I concur with the above- get thee to a medic!!!
Lol, seriously though, if they're kind of jerks at the ER (I had a horrible experience... just cos I was 17 they kept assuming I was pregnant--LAME), you should see your regular doctor as well. There's obviously something wrong and this isn't just going to go away on its own.
I had my gallbladder removed 2 years ago. But when I had that attack it was worse than anything I ever felt before. The pain I felt last night wasnt as bad as that. I just hate going to the ER. I have such bad experiences whenever I go in there. (maybe because its a Navy ER? I dunno..my friends have had bad experiences there too. The regular Naval hospital is pretty good though.) I do have a doc appt on monday though. I'm trying to see if I can get it changed to today or tomorrow..but I'm on hold right now...
Just joining in to wish you well. I am someone who is petrified of doctors, and put off seeing them as long as I can. But pain is definitely a signal that no matter how much you want to avoid it, you need to check it out. Most of the time it's something simple. Let us know!
