That's the spirit, Shari, we have to learn how to deal with the gains as well as the losses. The strength to get back on track after slipping will benefit you throughout your journey.
I like your quote "Be happy for this moment...this moment is your life."
I was up that dang .6 again this week, I had a great OP day today though. An NSV, we went to the chinese buffet for MIL's birthday. DH had the idea to order shrimp and broccolli off the menu, it was great. They thought we were a little nuts, but we got the large order and split it. It was great, we had a nice visit with the in-laws and didn't get over stuffed. I'm thrilled!!
So, even though I was in a bit of a snit this a.m. I'm feeling much better and looking forward to next weeks WI already! (Although we're supposed to have some cold weather this weekend, ick)
Lost 2.2 this week. It was a good OP week. They are few and far between! I'm enjoying it and looking forward to a little treat on thurs. VDay! I used to hate it, so it's not a big deal, but it's a good reason to have a treat, and Thursdays are wing night at one of our fav. places, so that's where we're going.
Very nervous about WI tonight. I have been pretty strictly OP for weeks now, but sometimes I lose and sometimes I gain and I can't quite get to that 10 pounds mark. I am stepping up my exercise this week if I don't lose (or, heaven forbid, gain), and will keep you guys posted.
Woo, down 1.8, and that's after eating some cake at my boss's baby shower yesterday afternoon!
I'm stepping up my exercise this week, so I'm prepared to not lose or even gain next week because that is just what happens to me when I change my exercise routine - stagnate and then drop five pounds in like two days.
Excellent, I think I did see your post about the ups and downs. Good job sticking with it, that's got to make it more challenging, but overall you're going down. Have you taken measurements? I know it's something we don't like to do, but it may get you through some "scale hard times" later, if you can see progress with the tape measure.
Argh, stayed exactly the same despite being exactly on plan and doing more exercise! Of course, the more exercise could explain it, but still! I think this week I am going to eat on the high end of things and use more of my 35 extra to try and shake my body up and force it to get rid of some of whatever it's holding onto...I'm not starving it, I think it just thinks I am!
