Good Saturday morning to all you fine chickies! And a good evening and thanks to Kara for starting us off!
Kara: I did a longer than usual workout last night and I was pooped. Granted, mine was only 90 minutes, but I'm building!!
DH was nice and cleaned out the fridge for me last night. Thank goodness it's clean -- I hate that job!!
Ruth: I'm so glad your surgery is coming up soon!
I would like to get into sewing eventually. It would be nice to make quilts, clothing, etc. for the family. Too bad there aren't any places out here to take lessons. Maybe I could come visit you for a session!
Cat: I'm with Cyndi - I'm very envious of your being able to plant already. (Why don't we have a gardener smiley?) The seed catalog is dog-eared and marked up as we prepare for our veg, herb and flower gardens this year. We're being ambitious!! Hope your day of cleaning and preparing goes well!
Cyndi: Sounds like you have a lot going on as well!
I think it would be fun to plan a basket like that - especially the silly gifts. I hope it all goes well!
Dawn: Man, you are a cleaning queen!
I have to admit that I'd probably be extremely embarassed if someone were to peek under my washer/dryer! Hopefully the soreness wears off and that darn scale starts moving!
ME: Well, I'm now 100% ready to start classes next Thursday. I've got my books, I've got my ID and I've got my parking permit. Now I just need to be able to run to the buildings where my classes are and take a tour. I like to know exactly where each class is prior to the first class day.
Today there is some straightening up before DH's company comes over. They're bringing over a nice recliner that I need to make room for. And there's a possibility of a nice loveseat as well, so that will be good. Can't beat free furniture! The guy is a bachelor, so I'm hoping it's in a decent state, but we'll see.
Other than that, I would like to clean out my craft room. DH and I are planning his shed/workshop and I've requested enough space to store Christmas decor and housewares. We're hoping to start building by the end of March, but it really depends on everyone's schedule. (We're doing it ourselves with the help of a carpenter-friend). I really can't wait because it will mean a real guest room, more space in my room, and a future baby room! Wahoo!
Well, I need to stop fartin' around and get to work. Have a loverly Saturday, gals! I will!
