  • I use spark people and I like it a lot better than fitday - SP has a lot of restaurant foods and I rarely have to enter custom foods. I also found the calorie counts on fitday to be off when I checked it against the labels, and SP seems to be more accurate.
  • I love daily plate!! So much quicker and easier and lots more food already in their library or whatever you call it! Thanks!!
  • This might be a bit off topic but I really like sites that have health related articles like www.fitsugar.com (a fun site!) and www.iateapie.net (review of health food or food that's supposed to be healthy). Check them out when you are bored, it'll entertain you for a few minutes
  • WakeMeForSummer-
Yeah that would be cool! Do you want me to set one up? Then you all can get on my case about all the bad food that I have been eating!! PIZZA!! AAWW I can't believe how much pizza I have eaten lately!
  • Helpme-- Ya! Lets do it! It would be good to have someone checking my accountibility on TDP, too--
  • I just signed up for thedailyplate after reading posts here. It's SO MUCH BETTER than FitDay! I *LOVE* it! Thanks, guys!
  • Thank you for making me aware of the dailyplate.com. I just went and signed up and I love it. It is so much better. Everything I had eaten and planned to eat was there as well as the exercise. That is great I will use this from now on! Thanks!
  • I made a group on thedailyplate.com , if you would like to join I can send those who are a part of thedailyplate.com and invitation, I just need your username. It is called - 3 Fat Chicks - 20 Somethings. I would like to see us there!

    YAY ! Thanks!
  • I tried Spark People in the end, it seemed nice. I probably still will log my foods in a plain old notebook, because in the long run this fits me much more than having to be on the computer to do that, but the site in any case is very pleasant. And it will anyway allow me to find out how many calories in my broccoli, chicken etc. so that I can log those foods better in my notebook afterwards.

    YAY ! Thanks!
    I sent you an invite!
  • Maybe we should post a new thread to invite people, in case people have stopped reading this one? It's really cool that it averages our cals--
  • I'm still reading this one! I'm artichoke over at the daily plate.
    What are the groups for?
  • It's just extra support-- it's kinda cool-- it adds up our caloric goals as a group and sees if we meet it as a group--
  • I joined the group. It's neat to see our totals. I'm loving thedailyplate so far. The net cals sometimes mix me up, but overall it's working great.
