  • since sept is coming to a close, i thought now might be a good time to start discussing goals for october....


    First: Set your goals! Be specific. It is great to see goals like

    -I am going walking every day with my children
    -I am going to drink 6 glasses of water every day
    -I am going to get the the gym 3 times this week
    -If I don't go the the gym, I am going to do 50 sit ups and 20 push ups
    -I am never going to exceed 5 extra points in one day


    scond: Keep us informed of your progress
  • 1. 4-8 lbs lighter
    2. drink at least 1/2 g water daily
    3. exercise every day at least 1 hr combining cardio/weights
    4. keep on top of planning ahead and keeping core friendly foods around
    5. work on thinking things through in lieu of stress eating on stressful days
    6.stick to core 5 days a week and be sure on the other two to eat 3 core/3 non-core meals to banish cravings and prevent binging and to focus on portion control during non core meals.

    7. get back to meetings!

    I'll come here with you but I don't want to start until the 1st. I would like to finish off September on the Spetember thread....K. I guess I can do both though.

    I haven't posted in the Trick or Treat thread and I think I'll be too out of touch with what's going on to start now.

  • Hi. I just started back to WW about a week ago. I was dieting my own way previously, but decided I needed WW for motivation. Here are my goals for October:

    1. Get out of the 230's into the 220's.
    2. Drink more water. (4-6 glasses)
    3. Exercise 3 times per week. (walking or DVD exercise)
    4. WRITE DOWN EVERYTHING

    Okay, Okay - here goes

    1. Lose Another 5 pounds
    2. Keep variety in my diet and yummy selections
    3. Exercise 3 -4 times a week
    4. Stay OP and write it all down before I eat it NOT AFTER

    Count me in, I'm coming back to the board after being away for far to long.
    Made the rounds of all the other diets now its back to WW and 3FC

    I started over yesterday and here are my October goals

    l. Lose 5 lbs.
    2. Drink 6-8 glasses of water
    3. Journal everything I eat
    4. Report in here daily

    welcome to the newbies! whoever restarted ww, im restarting tomm i cant wait to go to my meeting even tho it means being up@crack of dawn so im done bf mom needs to pick up my neice and nephew from preschool. im only counting my sat wi though. am even gonna switch over to sat wi in the ctr in 2 weeks cant next week bc next weekend i cant go so i will have to wi next thur too&after that i can do sat.

  • Wow! October starts on Sunday. My birthday is the 5th. I'd like to hit the 20 pound mark by then! My October goals.

    *DRINK MY WATER EVERYDAY!
    *Exercise six days a week
    *Stay op
    *Lose 8 to 10 lbs. (that is two pounds per week. I will be happy as long as I'm losing something, but this is my goal )
    *At least 3 fruits and veggies EVERYday
    *Check in here daily
