hi everyone,
got to weigh in last nite at tops and i stayed the same or as some people say i turtled.i am 1/4 below goal. trying this week to stay under too. found it quite hard at times last week but i am determined to do it.

Congrats for the turtle. That is great. Sounds like you struggled this week but you came in with a turtle and didn't gain so that is to be commended. I can't imagine being a kop. So that is great that you didn't lose your status. Maybe with the support here and your determination maybe you will lose this week to get you lower so you don't ride so close to your goal to lose status. I know you have worked hard to earn this status and we don't want you to lose it. Hopefully next year I will join you and be a kops also. So hang in there girl and you can win this never ending battle.
I am doing great today. I started the hollywood diet with my husband this morning and I am doing well.

hi sherri, thanks so much for the support. i am doing okay today. glad you are too.one day at a time eh.i worked to hard to give it up.if i can do it anyone can.i started in the warm pool today as i have arthritis. good for my 60 yr old joints.lol top hugs jinky

I have arthritis too and its a challange to exercise .right now I am in PACE ,an arthritis class for arthritis sufferers....
What I really need is a 'NEW DIET" . Im stuck altho I lost a mere 1/2 pound this week, its not enough...Id like to do a big 4 this week.ANY CLUES?
ITs a real sad day and everyone is mourning .Our weight problems dim in view of the value of life, and it makes us aware how very precious we are ...So lets never give up...

arthritis
hi c babe, i have had arthritis for 20 yrs. i am on vioxx now and it helps some. i was on ty#3 for 20 yrs and i say it messed up my thyroid plus and for the last year had upset stomach from it.
it is hard to get some exercise in but i find the warm pool helps me alot.
for breakfast every day i eat bran flakes with 2% milk. i use skim for my tea .for lunch every day i eat a garden salad with light ceasear dressing or a sandwich made with 2 slices of weight watchers bread with some kind of meat. bread is my downfall.i eat some kind of fruit a rice cake every couple of hours so i don't overeat at supper.
for supper i have potato and all the veggies i want plus meat but i cut my meat sizes down so i would lose. i still have fruit at nite and also 1/2 banana with spk with i love so much. when i tried to deny myself the spk+banana i would overeat at nite alot. knowing i am going to have my spk+banana around 9pm has helped me so much.
it starts with our head and believing in ourselves and trying to eat right so our mind isn't on food all the time. by just knowing i could have my spk+ banana changed my thinking about food and therefore changed the way i think about myself.find something you really enjoy to eat and have that at your hard time. hope this helps you c. you can do it.you just have to find the something you like and then have it in moderation. hope this helps a little. i know this group sure has helped me. tops hug jinky
