Triumphant Tuesday Menu - July 11

  • Well - there is somewhat of a plan already:

    Breakfast: chocolate black cherry fondue sf/ff yogurt, decaf w/cream

    Snack: 1 banana

    Lunch: LO lemon garlic chicken, mixed veggies, brown basmati rice (I love this stuff!)
    green grapes

    Pre-gym snack: hb egg, 1 apple

    Dinner:?? tbd

  • I'd love to be triumphant! BTW, I didn't know that Source was Yoplait. I'm going to look for those here. Only downside is that they have Splenda which I try to avoid. Still, it would be nice to have them here for dessert or something sweet once in a while.

    Breakfast: Shredded wheat and bran, skim, equal, and BLUEBERRIES!

    Lunch: FF cottage cheese and peaches

    Snack: Sweet and salty peanut granola bar (4 points)

    Snack: Core Blueberry Muffin

    Dinner: White Chicken Chili and Core Corncakes

    D. home made marinara sauce used 2tsp olive oil, meatballs made with core ground beef ( used 1/2 cup bread crumbs & 1/4 cup parmesan cheese 6pts divided by 11 meatballs ), ww spaghetti

  • Okay, this is my first day on Core so I hope I've figured this all correctly...

    B- WW muffin- 3 pts.
    L- Salad bar salad with egg, fresh mushrooms, cucumber, FF Ranch
    small scoop of cheese- 1 pt
    sliced turkey- 1 pt
    S- 6 Sunchips- 1.5 pts.
    D- frozen turkey breast (scraped off the gravy), mashed potatoes, corn
    S- FF/SF banana pudding with sliced bananas (so yummy!)

    I think I did pretty well and it wasn't as hard as I thought. I just hope I don't get stuck in a rut and burn out on the same ole stuff. I'm very picky so it is going to take work to keep the variety but I'm going to hit that recpie thread. I'm sure I'll find lots of good stuff over there!
