HELP!!! I'm New!! :)

  • hey everyone, my name is erin and im 19. I'm 5'1 and 120lbs. now i know that might not seem a lot. but for me (5'1) it is quite a little chunky an di would like to loose those 20lbs. my bf of 2 years is a senior in hs(yes, im 2 yr older well, his prom is may 24 so i want to look great for then! i also want to look great for the summer. any advice? im not sure what to eat. i know whats healthy but not sure what to pu ton my plan...
    this is what im doing so far

    breakfast: cereal w/ fat free milk
    lunch: salad
    dinner: regular dinner
    snacks: yogurt, grapes, apples, protein shakes and bars, special k bars, carrots

    is this ok? a lot of different things work for different people. what can work for me?

    my excercise program is...
    tues-gym
    fri-gym
    sat-gym or walk at track
    sun-gym

    any advice/suggestions? need some help :/

  • Also dont forget no soda, no fruit juice either (hidden sugars) ..... and lots of water!!!
  • o.. i forgot to mention drinks... i only drink water. i never drink juice and i can't drink soda anyway (i hate soda and my stomach can't handle it anyway)

    i also forgot to mention that for lunch on mon and wed. i eat a ham &cheese or turkey &cheese on wheat. i have school those days so i bring that w/ me
  • Do you keep a diet journal? And count all your calories?
  • no. i've tries doing that so many times but never had time to keep it up, even when i had it w/ m ein my bag. i also find it a hassle. counting all the time. ya kno, sometimes i just wouldnt have time to do all that. it makes me crazy!!!
