Dole Whip

  • Does anyone know the points or nutritional data on Dole Whip? It's been around for years. It's sold where you buy soft ice cream. The only flavor I can find, here in Central, NYS, is orange. I really like it. It's very much like a creamy sherbert.
It was advertised as low-fat when it first came out. The stand near me didn't have the nutritional info handy and I can't fnd it on a web site. I've been counting a cup as 3 pts. but I really have no idea and am hoping it's less <G>.
  • One of the things we tell our members is, with the resources you have, you can make an educated guess. If you continue to eat something, and guessing at it is causing you NOT to lose weight, either stay away from it, or increase the number of points you are assigning it. Is it Ice Cream? Does it have the density of Haagen-type product? Or, is it airier? Either way, when in doubt, do without. Unless your weight is continuing to slide... down! :-)
  • Got this from the dole.com website ...
"For answers to questions about delicious fruit-flavored DOLEŽ Soft Serve Frozen Dessert products, call 1-800-442-5242 (in the United States)"

There was a link to click on, but it came up as does not exist for me. Hopefully, you can get nutritional info from the phone number!
  • Found It
    Found It:
1.5 pts per 3 oz. I can live with this once in a while. Don't eat it often but it's a great treat when you want sherbert.
