Lazy day

  • I'm just lazing around today. It's been a few days since I have been able to read all the posts. My boys are always wanting to play computer games, so I had to tie them up so I could use it. I'm getting into my groove with the husband gone. Now I am ready to really put the effort into losing the weight. My biggest obstacle is emotional eating. But I am working on that. And not buying foods that I binge on. (Chips )

My body feels good after the exercise. I look forward to going again tomorrow.
I have also been doing strength training at home.

So, that's about it. Great getting to know you all. Happy to be part of such a wonderful group.
  • Hey Marcie ~ Glad to see you are taking time for you. Your not wearing makeup are you?! I am proud of you! Keep going
  • OH Marcie, I am usually always around so feel free to YIM me if that urge to go on one of those emotional binges. Trust me I have been there! Now make sure you dont' over do it at the gym, try to go 3 times a week or atleast work different muscle groups when you go so you don't over work the same muscles!
  • Yeah WTG.Marcie you are doing so well.Love your pic also.Things will surely start to fall into place as well as fall off!
  • Donna-No makeup!! Feels great.

Laurie-I'm still trying to figure the YIM out. I downloaded the software, but still don't know how to use it. Haven't had time to work with it. When I do, I will message you!

Tammy-I am so glad we all moved over here. Thanks for the encouragement.
  • Marcie,

Definitaley don't buy or keep your emotional foods in the house! If it is not there at least you can't binge on them!!!
  • Tammy -- Yippee you are here! Samantha is going to be joining us soon too - she quit the other site either today or yesterday.

Marcie - my favorite motto is an old Weight Watchers saying that you can't eat what you don't buy. I don't allow chips or jelly beans in my house because I can't control them. John is only allowed to bring junk food I'm allergic to in our house.

I'm sitting here with a giant plate of salad and it's taken me about an hour to eat it -- mixed baby spring greens, cucumber, carrots, sugar snap peas, tomatos, red bell pepper, with a 4 oz grilled chicken breast, 1 T of hard boiled egg; 1 T of shredded lowfat cheese and 1 T of ranch dressing. Am I making anyone hungry? I've decided I really like sliced red bell peppers.

We got a new version of Microsoft Office at work today so my e-mail looks different and it's driving me nuts! I guess it's all in what you can get used to.
  • Susan ~ That is a yummy sounding salad!
