I'm on my third day of re-induction ( Thank god the headaches are gone!) after the holidays. I have a question though.. I have a very difficult time being without anything sweet at all.. I used to have mock oatmeal in the mornings, and that would take care of it, but I just found out that I'm not allowed ricotta cheese during induction, (Is that true) also I made a bowl of SF/FF Jell-o and I read yesterday that even that isn't allowed. I also heard that SF/ syrup isn't allowed, so LC cream cheese pancakes wouldn't do me any good.I had a couple of TB's of Unsweetened Soy nut butter yesterday out of frustration. Would I be completely throwing my diet off track if I kept the jell-o or natural PB. It says only 1 net carb for 2 TB. I haven't noticed a stall in my weight loss because of them.
Also, does anyone count the carbs in their eggs? I've been counting them because I saw that they have .6 carbs in 1. Am I too anal? It says to eat them liberally, but then again cheese is supposed to be liberal too, and then it says to count 1 carb for 1 ounce. I'm so confused. I would appreciate a little help.. and maybe some answers to my questions. Thanks in advance!!

I know it is hard but it will be worth it in the long run. Peanut butter is a big staller for me personally and I LOVE it! According to the book your body needs to be in ketosis during this induction, eating the splenda stuff and everything not approved will knock your body off track. I'm halfway to goal and wouldn't even consider having a pancake right now, I'd probably die of guilt. If you haven't read the book and you are wanting to do Atkins, definitely grab it up and see the reasons behind the strict induction period.
