yes, that is true. no sugar free junk, no peanut butter, just the eggs, cheese, meat and approved foods from the book
I know it is hard but it will be worth it in the long run. Peanut butter is a big staller for me personally and I LOVE it! According to the book your body needs to be in ketosis during this induction, eating the splenda stuff and everything not approved will knock your body off track. I'm halfway to goal and wouldn't even consider having a pancake right now, I'd probably die of guilt. If you haven't read the book and you are wanting to do Atkins, definitely grab it up and see the reasons behind the strict induction period.
I count 1 carb for each egg, and cheese has a constipating effect on some people if they eat to much so be sure to take your vitamins and whatever natural softener if that is what is needed
