November Points Challenge

  • This seemed to work well for October so let's give it another try shall we? Here's how the Points Challenge (designed by Sandi of the 100 lb. Club) works: Every day, starting Nov 1 and going until Nov 30, you have the chance to earn 4 points doing the things we all know help with weight loss: food, exercise, and water. You get 2 points for following your own personal plan for food, 1 point for getting in your planned exercise, and 1 point for drinking the amount of water you've set as your goal. That means that a total of 120 points are possible for the month of November.

    Just post your points for each day as you go along, you can add to a previous post by editing or just post a new reply. I'll keep a log of everyone's points (and the days that they've updated) at the top.

  • Okay, I am going to break my goals down into the following:

    1 point: planning my daily meals ahead of time
    1 point: journaling my food intake
    1 point: drinking 80 oz water daily
    1 point: 7 servings fruits & veggies daily

    Next month I will add a calorie goal or something because even though I'm getting all my points some days my eating is still terrible but it's not accounted for here because I still get water, fruits/veggies, etc
  • November Challenge
    I would like to join this challenge. I am doing pretty well with my exercising and fair with diet, but I have taken less care with my water intake of late. I was just noticing I have not had anywhere 8 glasses today, for instance.
    Goof idea this challenge.

  • Yuppers I'm in (again) although I'm away in Japan for 10 days, so lordie knows what's going to happen then! I'll have to keep up my kickboxing practice so I should at least try and eat healthily! Maybe my goal for Japan is to listen to my body and feed it when it's hungry!!

  • I noticed i haven't been doing a good job updating this or doing well with this point challenge. I'm too busy this month in order to give my full effort towards this. Maybe next month.

    Nov 24-3 points-probably WAY over calories. This was my one day not to count. I'm sure I got all my veggies and dairy in though. I actually exercised too! Yay me!
    Nov 25-2 points-no fvdairy(well, one serving short of fruit and veggies), and I didn't monitor my calories. Tomorrow is a new day.

    Nov 27-3 points-probably went over calories again...I didn't really count. I can't wait until Monday is here and I can get away from the leftovers!

    November 30-4 points! go me...I didn't do cardio but I did my weights even though i REALLY didn't want to so I'm giving myself that point!
