Ok, so I finally logged onto Fitday.com to start logging my food intake. How do you read this stuff? How many calories should I have per day to lose weight? I am so illiterate when it comes to this stuff.
on Fitday, you make your own goals, so you would have to figure out how many calories for your height, weight, and activity levels you need to burn to still lose weight. I'd search online to find that out.
This is a site from wake forest unveristy baptist medical center. It will give you several numbers calories to maintain your current weight, reasonable weight range, waist to hip ratio and BMI
I try to keep a 40% carbs, 30% good-unsaturated fat, 30% lean protein ratio. I don't remember where I read that, it's not in the SBD book. It's just me.
