  • Well ladies we all did so awsome on the 4th of July challenge I thought we might set ourselves up for success for Labor day as well......Remember even 1/2 pound a week will be great and we are inching closer to our goals

    I am shooting for a loss of 5 pounds by then...
    SW - 154 3/4
    GW - 149 3/4

    July 7th- +3!!!! OUCH!!!!!!!!!
    July 14th- - 2 1/4 155.5 still up 3/4 pound
    July 21st- (my 10th wedding anniversary)
    July 28th- 153 3/4
    August 5th- Sherri was here and I didnt go
    August 11th- 155.5 + 1 3/4
    August 18th-155 -.50
    August 25th-154.5 -.50
    September- 1st- 154 -.50 (Did not make goal but even 3/4 pound gone is srill gone )


    This is a 9 week challenge so I know we can help support each other and hit the goals we set
  • I am in. I will try to lose at least 1/2# each week. That way I don't put extra pressure on myself.

    July 7th- +3# Crappy way to start I will do better next week
    July 14th- -3# Ok that takes care of what I gained
    July 21st- +5 This month is not going good
    July 28th- -2# Having trouble with fluid should do better next week
    August 4th- -2 1/2 Now going in right direction
    August 11th- -1# ok down 1/2#
    August 18th- turtle still have 2 weeks
    August 25th- +3# This has not been a good month. Need a big loss next week to end with a loss.
    September- 1st- -3# I did not do good on this one I think I ended up down 1/2# Too much up and downs

  • Count me in...I need something to shoot for. I'm not stepping out so for this time. I'll try to meet a committment to lose 1 pound per week. Thanks Christian for starting the new challenge.
    July 16.... I'm sorry I haven't been able to write on the board, but my time is very short right now. I didn't even post here last week. I'll at least try and keep up with this challenge.
    July 29....Sorry I haven't wrote on the board, I just can't find the time. I'm trying to keep up on the challange board. Aug 11....I didn't lose much this week, but not from the lack of trying. I'll be better next week. Rethinking my plan!!!I reached my goal of losing 10 pounds this week for this dhallenge. I've made it!!!!

    July 7.....I lost 3/4 of a pound this week
    July 14...I lost 1 3/4 pounds this week...
    July 21...I lost 1/4 pounds this week...I've hit a hard place
    July 28...I lost 2.50 pounds this week.
    Aug 04....I lost 2 pounds this week.
    Aug 11....I lost 1/4 pound this week.
    Aug 18....I lost 1 1/4 pounds this week.
    Aug 25....I lost 2 pounds this week.
    Sept 01...I had my first gain since March...grrrrrr....I gained 1/2 pound. Don't know why, was really doing more walking than before. I won't let that get me down, on and more focused for the rest of my journey. At least I met my goal.

  • I've had an "unofficial challenge" with myself for Labor Day, so I'm really excited about doing this challenge with you all.

    My goal is for a loss each week. No specific amount..just to keep being consistant.

    I weigh in on Thursday's so my postings will reflect that weigh in date.

    July 7 -lost 2 lbs...245.75

    July 14-No Weigh-in. TOPS was cancelled.

    July 21- lost .25

    July 28-up .50 (this is the last up I'm having!)

    August 4-lost 1.50

    August 11

    August 18

    August 25

    September 1
  • Wow this sounds great. I attend Tops on mondays and was just thinking last night of setting a challenge for myself. My starting weight is 235 and my goal weight for this challenge is 220lbs!!!

    Weigh In Mondays:
    July 4th 233.5, down -1.5
    July 11th 233.5, no loss or gain
    July 18th 234, up +.5
    July 25th 232.75, down -1.25
    August 1st no weigh in due to temp health problem
    August 8th 230.5, down -2.25
    August 15th 232, up +1.5
    August 22nd 231.75, down -.75
    August 29th 234.5, up +3.25 NOT GOOD
    September 5th now weigh in due to holiday

    Okay so I did not do so well on this challenge...as of Aug. 29th my total loss since the start was only .5lb. I will do better this next month as I get back into the swing of things!! Congrats to everyone who met their goal and even those who gave it their all. Keep trying!!!

    I met my goal for the 4th...maybe that's a good omen!
    I will set a goal for 1 pound per week. I weigh in on Thursdays and will try to post each week. But I'm gone alot, so will post when I'm in town.
    Good luck to all of you and remember, don't give up. If you aren't successful one week, try harder the next week!

    My own goal sort of coincides with Labour Day (I know it says Sept. 1st, but a few days isn't that much of a deal), so I thought I'd join.

    My goals:
    - some loss each week
    - to actually be able to see the loss on myself when Labour Day rolls around
    - and to reach, or be close to 120 lbs by then (hopefully)
