OK folks, day one and I did just over 30 minutes of power-walking! I tried to jog a little, but after like 1 minute I was almost dead so I slowed it back down...have to work up to that jogging...LOL.
I didn't read your thread until this am. Can I start today Christy? Yesterday I was busy all day and didn't intentionally exercise. I was walking one hour a day for 2 months but I burnt myself out. Now really doing atleast 30 min of either gazelling or walking almost every day. If I can start today I will post later when I get busy and Move My Body! How about if I do one hour today to make up for not yesterday? Cindi
So far not so good. I already have a deficit of 60 min. for today and yesterday. I have every intention of making it up asap, even intending to put air in my bicycle tires tomorrow. I'm still in, just a little slow on the uptake.
Carla~A gazelle is a small, swift antelope! Tee Hee!
This kind on the other hand is an exercise machine...Have you ever seen that loud mouth tony little on tv. You kind of glide..totally no impact. Good for my crunchy knees. Check out this link. http://www.homefitnessclub.com/jump....ProductID=4074
I Love mine. It's how I first began to ditch my couch potatoeness(not a word I am sure). But it's easy on the body. Now I need to get busy and do it. Right Now. Cindi
Far Out and totally cosmic my dear. We are aging like fine wines right Carla!!! So you graduated in 67? Gawd that makes us sound ancient, but with all of this great exercise we are getting younger every day.
It's not like an elliptical its more like a curved nordic track or ski machine.
Bye for now fellow oldie but goodie.
Forgot to mention my 31 min on my "gazelle" for 2 miles tonight. Cindi
I might join you in a bike ride today it sounds good. Wonder where the rest of our fellow daily exercisers are? ****-o Is there anybody out there? Bye for now. Cindi
I'm back on track: last night 22 min on the rebounder and a 40 minute walk, which covers Fri and yesterday. And this morning I took advantage of the cooler weather by waking up early and going out for a jog/walk. I'm determined to overcome my bad feet and get back to real running. This morning I alternated 100 paces fast walk, 100 paces very, very slow lumbering jog. But I covered 4 k doing it, and even iced my feet when I got home!
